Re Adding Picture to Michael Tritter[edit]

That picture is of the actor, not the character. In accordance to the Manual of Style, we only put pictures of the character in a screenshot or whatnot, not the actor walking around at a party, ect. They are two completely different things and should not be mixed at all. Please remove the picture. Renaissancee (talk) 05:42, 15 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Paris montage[edit]

Hi, if you wish to upload a new version, could you add it under another name, please? Thanks - the image in the infobox of Paris was the one passed as a GA, and seems to be the result of much dispute and acrimony, so changing it to one with smaller images (when the current size was deemed just acceptable) will not be acceptable to the regular editors of the article.--Gilderien Chat|List of good deeds 21:35, 16 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Why are you uploading multiple copies of the same image to Commons under different names?[edit]

Please stop doing this. If the image is the same, but a better version, upload it to the existing name and update the information if necessary. Beyond My Ken (talk) 18:42, 1 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

How's this?

Did a restoration of the file. Want to co-nom it? I do apologize it wasn't done sooner: I was in a show last week. Adam Cuerden (talk) 22:57, 15 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Surprised you could still see the differences - spent a lot of time smoothing out the levels, and thought I had got it unless you enter high contrast mode (e.g. tilt an LCD screen away from you) Oh, well. Another tweak never hurt. Uploaded and done.
As for cropping - it really does need enough border to balance all the captions at the bottom. Plus, tight borders on Wikipedia, it really can severely limit reuse, at least as a physical copy. More border you have, more paper shapes you can accommodate. We can use {{CSS image crop}} in articles, so better to give one, generous crop, that maximizes reuse, than to do one that's only good for thumbnailing. Adam Cuerden (talk) 02:33, 16 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
So... anything else? That fix the issue? Adam Cuerden (talk) 06:57, 17 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Samuel D. Ehrhart's "An International High Noon Divorce"
For example....

Since I want you to get credit for finding it, would you be willing to co-nom? I've set it up here and left a space for you. Adam Cuerden (talk) 09:39, 17 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Musée de la BnF moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Musée de la BnF, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
