Hello Parkmaniac,

I saw your message on my talk page. Your contributions about Laramie Plains will be appreciated! It's certainly an advantage that you are used to academic work in the subject area, because basing your contributions on reliable third-party sources (as is academic standard) is particularly important for an encyclopedia.

I'm posting some generic help links below; in particular, WP:Tutorial might interest you. Feel free to post a message on my talk page if you have questions. However, I must say that I am not familiar with the subject matter (Laramie Plains or Wyoming in general); if you have specific questions in that respect, you might want to post a note on Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Wyoming, where you will find people interested in the same subject. --B.
