Problems with your edits to Template:Autobiography/doc[edit]

Hi Passy975. The page Template:Autobiography/doc is a documentation page for a template. It is not in any way a suitable place for the material you posted there. I think you may have just been confused but please note that edits like that can be mistaken for vandalism. You can use your userpage, located here, to post some material about yourself. If you seek to write an article about Christian Filostrat, please understand the notability criteria for biographies, as well as our conflict of interest guideline (though I'm not sure it's applicable here), and then see Wikipedia:Your first article. Please also note that your second edit to that page was a blatant copyright violation of http://www.thegospeloftomas.com/ Please don't take anyone else's writing and post it anywhere on Wikipedia. Thanks.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 15:30, 25 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article Christian Filostrat has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. - MrX 01:21, 5 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

April 2013[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from Christian Filostrat. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Christian Filostrat, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. OlYeller21Talktome 21:32, 8 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. Continuing to remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Christian Filostrat, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, may be considered disruptive editing. Further edits of this type may result in your account being blocked from editing. OlYeller21Talktome 23:17, 8 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. The next time you remove the maintenance templates from Wikipedia articles without resolving the problem that the template refers to, as you did at Christian Filostrat, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. OlYeller21Talktome 23:50, 8 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

In case the above templates aren't clear, you can't simply remove maintenance templates without addressing them. Is there something that you're having trouble doing or understanding? I'd be happy to help you but I'm not sure why you're doing what you're doing. Please let me know or you may be blocked from editing if you do it again. Hello, I'm Tolly4bolly. I wanted to let you know that I undid one of your recent contributions, such as the one you made with this edit to Négritude, because it didn’t appear constructive to me. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks, Tolly4bolly 19:06, 10 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! I noticed that you're having some trouble with citations in Christian Filostrat so I thought I'd drop by with a little help. WP:CITE covers how citations work on Wikipedia. Basically, you can put your reference (a URL, a book name and page, etc.) into the follow code where you see "(Reference text)": <ref>(Reference text)</ref>

You can find those "ref" brackets in blue below the editing window. If you click on them, they'll appear in the editing window or you can simply type them out yourself. After those are placed, there's a template in the article's code that shows as {{reflist}} that will take everything in those ref brackets and print them at the bottom of the page in a nice list. This function carries some other features that are really nice for readers and the whole process makes things much easier on us editors.

If you need any help with this, I'm happy to help. If you have any questions, you can ask here or on my talk page. Have a great rest of the week! OlYeller21Talktome 21:52, 10 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
