Hi: I saw your edits at the VIBES FM Hamburg article deletion discussion, and I'm concerned that you don't understand how Wikipedia works well enough to make a good defence of the article. So above you will find links to some basic policies, and I also think you need to look specifically at the policies on notability (which define whether a topic is worth having a Wikipedia article on - that's what needs to be demonstrated in the article, not whether the radio station exists) and the specific guidelines for companies. You will see there what kinds of sources are allowed to establish notability: they include newspaper and magazine articles, websites that cannot just be edited by anyone (like wikis can), and books, but not the company's own website, press releases, or ordinary blogs (blogs that are part of a major newspaper's website are ok). And a source can't just mention the station in a list or a program listing. It has to talk about it. You will need to show either that there are a substantial number of local sources of this reliable and independent sort - 3 seems in my experience to be the minimum - or that tehre is national or international coverage of this sort - for that, my experience has been that 2 sources are enough. One source could be an official license statement published somewhere; is there a follow-up to that story from 2006 where the licensing agency states that Univeril won the license? That would count as one. That plus a newspaper article might be enough. But once someone has said "This article does not have enough sources to prove the subject is notable," people who disagree have to provide references citing those sources, and make a clear statement in the deletion discussion that there are now adequate sources, explaining how they fit the notability/referencing rules. That is the case with any article on Wikipedia. It is not about whether people care about the topic, it's that Wikipedia cannot have an article about everything that exists. (WP:EXISTS is a page about that misconception.) The people who have responded to you on the discussion page have been trying to tell you that; I thought I would provide some material you could look at to see what is required. But I can't find adequate sources; nor apparently can others. If you can, you need to add them to the article. And it's quite likely that you can find a newspaper article that isn't online, or a statement about the licence that we have not been able to find. But remember, it can't be from the company itself. The company's own statements can only be used for information, not for establishing notability. It doesn't matter if sources are in German (or any other language, for that matter). Yes, many of us can read German, and in any case those are the rules, Wikipedia is an international project. The reason someome mentioned the German Wikipedia to you is that if the station is notable enough to have an article, someone would normally have written one for the native-language Wikipedia. But that's merely an indication - and in some cases the foreign-language Wikipedia will suggest places to look for sources, because not all editors realize foreign-language sources are allowed on en.wikipedia. It's not necessary for there to also be an article on de.wikipedia, and if there were, its existence could not be used as an argument for notability. (In my experience en.wikipedia is stricter about referencing than de.wikipedia, so you may want to write one for the latter anyway.) . . . I hope some of this helps. I hate to see articles deleted when they could have been saved, and I hate to see editors driven away. We need more people willing to help us build this encyclopedia, and specifically we can always use people who can read other languages besides English. Dear Yngvadottir, Vibes FM is registered by the GEMA and the GVL (LEISTUNGSSCHUTZRECHTEN mbH (GVL)) in Germany. It acquired his Licences from the Hamburg/Schleswig Hosltein Median Anstallt. The frequency 97.0 which should have been taken in Wismar was not taken due to the poor marketing situation in the Eastern part of Germany ( 2006 - 2007 ). In the year 2009, Vibes FM took the frequency 96.7 which covers some parts of Hamburg. The reason is, there are no more free frequency at this time and the only one they had was this one(96.7)!

However, the Head of the Hamburg Median Anstalt Company has promised to give them a better frequency that will cover the entire hamburg as soon as one is free. The other frequencies are being hired by stations like Radio Hamburg to cover some parts during their shows. l will like to contribute to this debate on Vibes FM since it is not just an internet Radio streamer as one suggested.... I will see if l could get some official links to this but seems , the freq. 96.7 was not published for many people to compete upon as was done with the 97.0 in Wismar.
