Your thread has been archived[edit]

Teahouse logo

Hi Patrick901! The thread you created at the Wikipedia:Teahouse, how can i change my own username?, has been archived because there was no discussion for a few days (usually at least two days, and sometimes four or more). You can still find the archived discussion here. If you have any additional questions that weren't answered then, please feel free to create a new thread.

The archival was done by Lowercase sigmabot III, and this notification was delivered by Muninnbot, both automated accounts. You can opt out of future notifications by placing {{bots|deny=Muninnbot}} here on your user talk page. Muninnbot (talk) 19:06, 24 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Unexplained removal[edit]

Hi there, please don't make edits like this without providing a valid reason. You removed an image for reasons known only to you, and you removed a maintenance template without resolving the issue raised, which you should also not do. While I'm sure it was not your intention to do anything disruptive, this sort of edit is indistinguishable from vandalism. Please be more careful in the future. Thanks, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 01:08, 2 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

What, im using bots[edit]

Didn't you realize that i use bots to make edits on other wikipedia projets, thats how I save time.

January 2021[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm DanCherek. I noticed that you recently removed content from Flying Scotsman (train) without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. —DanCherek (talk) 22:21, 2 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Flying Scotsman (train), without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Thank you. —DanCherek (talk) 22:25, 2 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for demonstrating a lack of competency that is deleterious to the building of an encyclopedia, and that is indistinguishable from vandalism. While I wouldn't fault a new user for not understanding how to comment on talk pages, you've made a few seriously misplaced comments, like answering a question I asked you on your talk page at a totally different talk page. And you've also deleted the bulk of this article, then pasted it back after another editor fixed it. And you started a discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Missing encyclopedic articles/American politicians/Governors for something that happened nine years ago, and, well, I just don't think you're here to contribute in any real way to this global, free, volunteer-contributed encyclopedia, so I have pulled your editing privileges to prevent damage to the project.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Cyphoidbomb (talk) 23:36, 2 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
