Thank you for telling me about the Pacifica Pier article, I apologize for interfering without understanding. 139.55.1.5 20:09, 8 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Brighton Chain Pier[edit]

Hi Paul, It looks as though you've uploaded a fresh version of John Constable 024.jpg, which is used by the Brighton page. I just thought it was worth mentioning that the image was originally wrongly ascribed in the Brighton article, and I corrected the thumbnail to say that it was in fact the Chain Pier, not "Suspension Bridge", a title translated from the German but quite wrong. I think (from memory) that I also updated the image itself to show the title in English, to avoid future confusion. (I can't check because the file history seems to have been reset by the new upload.) But anyway, I see your fresh upload returns us to the situation of only having the image titled in German, and so I'm tempted to add the English one again to avoid confusion elsewhere. But before I interfere, I wanted to find out if there was a reason for the fresh upload and German data?

Thanks for your reply - and well done for the detective work, I can't believe I forgot to sign my above comment! Sorry! :) Kierant 19:34, 11 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Great Yarmouth Bridge Disaster[edit]

My source of information was for the Norfolk County records office information leaflet - see [1]. Hope that this helps. Velela 17:51, 11 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I should have added that I also made reference to a newspaper cutting quoted in the following (on the last page) [2]. Velela 17:01, 13 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, use of that image violates fair use. It can only be used in a discussion about CNN, not in a discussion about the subjects of the image. User:Zoe|(talk) 03:30, 18 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
