Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, discussion pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Talk:Homo, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Don't delete talk page threads. They serve as a history of what has been discussed, and why certain actions may have been taken. If the talk page is too large and we no longer need the threads they should be archived rather than deleted. Meters (talk) 17:47, 20 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Got it. I was unaware of the archive feature. Thanks for the heads up. --Pauldebarros (talk) 15:40, 21 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
No probs. As it turns out, there is already an archive set for that page, so you can just copy old threads over to the archive with an appropriate summary. Meters (talk) 20:16, 25 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
