Thank you, I have noticed that my images are not up to par. Thank you for alerting me to the issue. --Kamangir1214 (talk) 04:51, 5 January 2009 (UTC)

Hey, again...some simple requests.

Your SVG work is exceptional, and I have some basic flag re-draw requests. And, also, maybe check out my request at the Graphics Lab? Thanks in advance for your help, as I said, is exceptional!!!

Thanks.

Thanks. The first 2 look great. Could you take a look at the map request that I've made in the Graphics Lab?, and possible clean the Burnaby, BC flag? Thanks, you're great!

For only when you have time:

standardize central motif of Saint George-you can make one basic graphic and just change color schemes and wording

Thank you so much, those are beautiful, you do really nice work! Before the old ones are deleted, I do have some concerns.
  • On the scroll text, the font is a very specifically shaped Old Slavonic text, not the modern reformed alphabet. I found something that looks like it at http://www.fingertipsoft.com/fonts/cyrfont1/brochure.html where it says "Old Cyrillic™ Cyr - This typeface captures a classic Cyrillic look for both Latin and Cyrillic text." I don't think you have to download anything, but it may take a while to trace the old-style letters. But those are correct for this badge, all capitals.
  • There were two oversimplifications on the large art file I said to go off of (my mistake) that do not exist in the other emblems. One, the emblem should come to a sharp bottom point like the top, even when it has the scroll beneath. It is not rounded in the bulk of the designs, and was probably artistic license on the big one.
  • The triangle at bottom of the scroll is really supposed to be a twist, made to look like an inverted onion dome like the churches (think a chubby soft-serve ice cream)-please check out the old pngs before they go, you can kind of see the idea. Again this was probably artistic license on the big one.
I can't thank you enough, and sorry for the tweaks. @:^} Chris (クリス • フィッチ) (talk) 03:37, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
I tried the website, none would let me type in the actual Cyrillic text БУДЬ ГОТОВЬ. Closest may be Zamolxis I. Chris (クリス • フィッチ) (talk) 08:50, 20 January 2009 (UTC)

NFL Draft table

Thanks--I thought about reverting it, but it does look better. Shame we get rid of that table after the Super Bowl, but it should return next year in the 2010 Draft article. Samer (talk) 20:05, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

Well, I'm the one who typically copies the table over, so it's just a matter of remembering to grab the late one rather than the early one. :-) Samer (talk) 20:36, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

I have nominated List of NFL records held by Jerry Rice, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of NFL records held by Jerry Rice. Vectorizing Non-Free Images

Hey man, I have been wodering this for a while, what makes you graphists a little slow to convert non-free images into vectors. I mean, can't they just be uploaded with the same licensing as the raster? Connormah (talk) 05:21, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

Wikipedia contradicts itself. What I mean is that fair-use images should always be in a low resolution, and with SVG images, they can be infinitely scaled, making it not a low-resolution image. However, they don't mind SVG fair-use images being uploaded, so its kind of a very loose area. Some editors enforce the fair-use policy, and other dont as much. --Pbroks13talk? 17:50, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
What is your view on this? Connormah (talk) 21:46, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
I'm indifferent. --Pbroks13talk? 03:21, 5 July 2009 (UTC)

Could you explain your revert of my removal of the current sport template? Per the guidelines to be found at Template:Current sport, such templates should only be used when there is rapid editing going on or when there is some other reason to warn our readers. It is not supposed to be used merely on articles about anything that can be considered "current". --Conti| 09:44, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

The article is absolutely current. Due to constant additions, releases, trades, position battles, contract signings, ect... that happen throughout the entire season (pre and regular), I feel that the template is necessary. If you still feel otherwise, let me know. --Pbroks13talk? 17:40, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
I think you misunderstand the point of the current event templates. The article is of course, as you say, current. But that's not why we add templates like this one, as confusing as it may sound. Please read the guidelines at Template:Current sport: "As an advisory to editors, it may also be used in those occasions that many editors (perhaps a hundred or more) edit an article on the same day." & "It is not intended to be used to mark an article that merely has recent news articles about the topic". The template exists to warn our readers when an article is being edited massively. The ensuing chaos warrants a warning to our readers. The template does not exist to merely inform our readers about something being current, as that is (or should be) already obvious from the article itself. --Conti| 12:55, 3 July 2009 (UTC)
Ah, okay my mistake. I'll remove it now; thanks for the insight! --Pbroks13talk? 17:11, 3 July 2009 (UTC)

Hello. Seeing your astonishing work, I would be deeply appreciative if you would be able to look into this request for SVGisation. It has come out very beautifully indeed and you have preserved all its character and details. Simply stunning! As I mentioned in the lab, bright future indeed awaits you in this field of endeavour. In return I offer my assistance in anything you may require. Here is a small token of my appreciation in the form of the following barnstar:

Fair use rationale for File:ForvikFlag.svg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:ForvikFlag.svg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. J Milburn (talk) 02:11, 21 July 2009 (UTC)

Spider anatomy diagram

Amazing work! I've left some comments at Wikipedia:Graphic_Lab/Image_workshop#File:Spider_internal_anatomy.png. I had a small proposal for you, though. I'm a big fan of non-restrictive licenses, the less restrictive the better. For example, all of my photography (some of which are Featured Pictures) are all released to the public domain. I was wondering if you would consider releasing the spider anatomy image under "Creative Commons Attribution" instead of "Creative Commons Attribution Share-alike". If not, that's perfectly fine with me, just wanted to ask. Also, once the image is finished, I would like to make a donation on your behalf to the charity of your choice (doesn't have to be the Wikimedia Foundation). Just let me know which charity you would prefer on my talk page. Thanks for all your hard work! Kaldari (talk) 21:28, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

Made a donation of $40 to VH1 Save The Music. Unfortunately, they didn't have a gift donation form (to donate on someone else's behalf), so I wasn't able to make the donation in your name. Hope that's OK. Kaldari (talk) 21:51, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
Hope I'm not driving you crazy, but I have 4 suggested changes to the spider anatomy diagram. Luckily, 2 of them are just labeling changes :) Kaldari (talk) 23:37, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
