Image tagging for Image:Saint Annes Belfield Seal.gif

Thanks for uploading Image:Saint Annes Belfield Seal.gif. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. License tagging for Image:Saint Annes Lower Aerial.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Saint Annes Lower Aerial.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Helpme

Hi! I am currently in the process of creating an article, but I'm having a bit of difficulty... Can somebody take a look at the article St. Anne's Belfield School and tell me if I am starting off right? Thanks so much, Pcbene 22:58, 11 October 2006 (UTC)

Hi. Unless your creating an article, you don't need the Template: part of the address. Ideally, for an article, you'll want St. Anne's Belfield School and create your article there. If you do want to create a template read this article. and drop me a line on my talk page if you need help. AA Milne 23:37, 11 October 2006 (UTC)

Sorry, the page I'm starting is called St. Anne's-Belfield School, I wasn't sure how to link to it. Pcbene 23:56, 11 October 2006 (UTC)

Help! I just realized that the same article I am creating existed under another name... (But as a stub) These are the two articles: St. Anne's-Belfield School(The existing one) and St. Annes-Belfield School (The one I am creating). What do I do? Pcbene 00:01, 12 October 2006 (UTC)

Looks like yours is better, but the article name of the original is better, so just copy all of your stuff into the one that is named better. Then mark the old one for deletion. Notmyhandle 00:13, 12 October 2006 (UTC)

I'll do that. Thanks Pcbene 00:28, 12 October 2006 (UTC)

I don't think that worked- could an admin look at this for me please? The two articles are: St. Annes-Belfield School and St. Anne's-Belfield School - Exactly the same, except for one apostrophe. What do I do? Pcbene 12:57, 12 October 2006 (UTC)

Try opening both articles in separate windows. Then copy/paste to St. Anne's-Belfield School all the extra info you put on St. Annes-Belfield School. When you finish the transfer, replace all the content on St. Annes-Belfield School by "#REDIRECT [[St. Anne's-Belfield School]]". That will transform your article into a redirect page for the other one. I hope this was helpful, I will remove the help me tag. Best regards.--Húsönd 13:37, 12 October 2006 (UTC)

Mistaken Identity?

Regaurding this message: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:142.59.168.155

I think there's been a mistake. I was confused when I read your message, since I've never received one on wikipedia before, and I figured I must have been reading someone elses talk page (but it was directed to me). What confused me more is that I've never edited that particular article, or have even been there.

But when I checked the edit history (the link you provided), it did have my IP.

I don't know how that happened. --142.59.168.155 08:21, 18 October 2006 (UTC)

Hi. It is completely possible that you edited under another person's IP, it happens all the time. (Anyways, the warning really isn't a big deal, just a friendly reminder that we want to keep the edits to Wikipedia constructive). One way to avoid the confusion would be to create a user account. Its easy and free :-) Thank you for calling this to my attention, and sorry for the confusion. Pcbene 03:33, 19 October 2006 (UTC)

About UWC

I just don't think that United World Chart article needs the 10/20/30/40 years ago hits. They are not necessary, as they were compiled before UWC truly started, and that can cause confusion (like Macarena, and not Hips Don't Lie, being the song with most weeks at #1).

Hi. I reverted the article because I thought the deletion was vandalism. If you would like to make the change again, I will make sure not to revert it. (Although I can not say nobody else will. If you explain yourself in the edit summary, people will be less inclined to revert it.) However, may I suggest that you first discuss the change on the talk page, to make sure your decision reflects consensus.

Thank you for calling this to my attention :-) Pcbene 21:17, 19 October 2006 (UTC)

Korean Hip Hop

The content I removed was either in Korean, or it was gibberish. Either way, it didn't belong there. --172.193.49.5 01:58, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

I do think it was in Korean, and seeing as it is an article about Korean songs, shouldn't it stay there? 209.145.92.11 14:35, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
