Good work! Very thorough. A few notes:

Consider linking to many more terms that might be unfamiliar to the reader. I'm sure a link to glycosaminoglycans, for example, would be appreciated, as would many of the other terms in that sentence.
References are formatted immediately after a period, with no space before and with a space after, like this.<ref>[placeholder]</ref> The formatting within the references is very well done.
The article is an WP:ORPHAN, meaning no other articles link to it, so people will be unaware of it and won't find your work (except directly from Google). I would add mention of it in the articles Eggshell and protein membrane separation and Eggshell at the very least.
If you make these changes in the next few days, and suggest a snappy "hook", this article will very likely be featured on the 'Did you know...' section of the Wikipedia main page! For the hook, just copy the format of those already on the main page, making sure that it's a) interesting and b) cited. I'll take care of the process if you can take care of the above promptly. Alternatively, I could do everything if you really need.

Also: you had '...hydrolyzed (see [[hydrolysis]])'. Note that you can write '...[[hydrolysis|hydrolyzed]]' which displays as '...hydrolyzed'; this is called 'piping' a link, and it allows you to link to an article that is not exactly the same as the text of the link.
