March 2022[edit]

Hello, I'm Sea Cow. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Greg Koubek, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Sea Cow (talk) 02:21, 27 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Permission Requests[edit]

Hi, Just so you know - I am your mentor so if you need any help just ask me on my talk page - but I noticed you requested rollback and got it denied - I wouldn’t recommend trying to get rollback given when your account is only 9 days old - I would wait a couple of weeks and wait until you have 200 - 300 reverts/main space edits. Hopefully this advice is helpful, and happy editing. Zippybonzo | talk 17:50, 30 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Rollback[edit]

Hi Peculiar Undertone. After reviewing your request, I have enabled rollback on your account. Please keep the following things in mind while using rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle or RedWarn.
  • Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback should never be used to edit war.
  • If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
  • Use common sense.

If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into trouble or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! FASTILY 00:30, 22 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Suitable use of rollback[edit]

Hi, just so you know, in the case where you self-reverted on InProg, you should probably have used undo for the self-revert so that you can provide an edit summary, the same applies for your talk page where you removed a message, if you do have any questions about the use of rollback drop me a message on my UTP. Kind Regards, Zippybonzo | talk 06:26, 22 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I thought I'd provide a relevant link; Wikipedia:Rollback#Accidental use of rollback. Hey man im josh (talk) 13:35, 22 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, Wikipedia:Rollback#When to use rollback might also have some context on this. Zippybonzo | talk 16:11, 22 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
