Hello. I had explained this in an edit summary, however the article was edited whilst I was writing it so the edit was not done. I did not undo your edit because of "personal style choice" - I undid your edit because it was not necessary, as stated in my edit summary. Please read WP:WHENTABLE, and more specifically the section headed "Inappropriate use.... Simple lists". The Manual of Style states "If a list is simple, it is generally better to use one of the standard Wikipedia list formats instead of a table." In future if you do not understand why an edit has been made, please ask rather than presuming it is because of "personal style choice". Thanks, Alexanderlee (talk) 17:18, 4 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Alexanderlee: Fair enough, thanks for the information on that. That said there are better ways than reverting all the edits made. As well "...consider whether the information will be more clearly conveyed by virtue of having rows and columns. If so, then a table is probably a good choice." There is a distinct reduction in information by not using a table. As it stands Leaving it as a list provides no information on the show. As well I agree with you about the Soompi sources per the information on your user page, however there are still three Soompi articles on the page. Curenty as there is only one show, a table is not necessary. Soompi and Allkpop not being reliable is per WP:KO/RS, there is currently only one Soompi source on Black Pink’s article; I replaced the other two with sources that I could find, and added an “unreliable source” tag to the final one which I didn’t find a replacement for, before you undid my edit. If I find a replacement source for the Soompi source still remaining, I’ll replace it. In regards to to undoing the whole edit, I did so because (as stated in the edit summary) the edits were not necessary. Have a good day, Alexanderlee (talk) 17:44, 4 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Alexanderlee: Additional information is not unnecessary. I disagree with the fact that a single show does not merit a table, especially with extensive examples of the use of it can be found, as well, WP:WHENTABLE does not discourage use of tables for a single item but specifies that the contents of the subject lend themselves to the use of rows and columns. The information included in the columns of the table is not included in the list. The bulk of edits you undid were relevant to the article and deepened the information of the article, specifically the names of the members are not included anywhere else. I understand that you could say that the network and number of episodes is not important enough however that style is universal across articles on Korean performers. Again I agree with the reliability of the source but I would still like clarification as to why the additional information is unnecessary Perfectirony (talk) 18:05, 4 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I’m on my phone right now so I don’t have the exact link, but there was a lengthy discussion on not including birth names in Kpop group articles. As for the show, any relevant information could be included in the body of the article. Alexanderlee (talk) 18:12, 4 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
