Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. You recently put some information into the Tommy Thayer page that I had removed. I agree with you that the move by Kiss was both controversial and disrespectful, however for inclusion in Wikipedia this statement must be referenced. Statements representing you point of view do not belong in an encyclopedia. If you have a a reputable source that supports the statement this link will help you to properly reference it. If you have any questions drop me a line on my talk page and I will be happy to help you out. J04n(talk page) 15:37, 17 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The reason behind the deletion of the 'so-called' facts you keep insisting that should be included is this: They are derogatory in nature. Your user name Petersspaghettiboy confirms that. You have no credibility. Rowlandsrock (talk) 23:10, 26 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry, but there are no 'so-called' facts that have been provided. They ARE facts, backed up by Tommy's own words from the Burnn! Magazine interview cited as a reference. An interview by the way that KISS' official site printed word for word, but their site doesn't go back in time far enough to have that article still show up in their archives. So the Blabbermouth reprint of Tommy's own words has been used as a reference instead. The information is in no way derogatory in nature. It is simply factual. It is valid material and your deletion of it just because you don't like it is unprofessional and vandalism.

As far as you taking issue with my credibility is concerned, the only credibility I need is facts to back up what was printed. I have those & properly referenced them. Oh, and others on the Tommy page have also brought up to you that you are incorrectly getting rid of valid material based solely on your personal bias. Oh, and your attack on my credibility over my user name simply shows more bias on your part. You should try to be a bit more objective. Especially when considering others have also pointed out to you that your deletions are not appropriate.

RE: Vain[edit]

Just to point out, wither you receieved the album or not is irrelevant. When adding content, you have to cite a reliable source (per WP:V). Simply saying it has been released is not enough. Saying that, thank you for providing a source for Enough Rope. Regards. HrZ (talk) 12:49, 5 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. I didn't think a specific reference would be necessary for common information such as a release that is widely available, but it was no problem adding the reference. I have since changed the reference to show in the 2000s section of the band's listing instead of just in the discography so I could make mention of the limited edition 2-disc version that contains the "No More Strangers" disc as well. Thanks Petersspaghettiboy (talk) 14:24, 6 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Everything needs to be able to be attributed to a reliable source, even common information. Also, it's more to do with the state with that article as well. As you can see, there are only 2 sources provided for a band that has been active since the 1980s, with content constantly added (and removed) without sources. I'm hoping that I will have time sometime soon to really update that article, but at the moment I don't. =\ HrZ (talk) 13:02, 7 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I'm happy to help out with the reference for the new album. Thanks again.

Looks like it was an anonymous IP editor who was removing Enough Rope from discography. I've went ahead and reverted back to the previous version so your recent edit will have changed slightly. Regards. HrZ (talk) 13:28, 11 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
