Disambiguation link notification for March 13[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 100 Pun de Meicho, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Commentator (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:14, 13 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Ongi kuden[edit]

Hi, I'm Slatersteven. Phalinith, thanks for creating Ongi kuden!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. You really need to add some sourcing with inline citations.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

Copyright problem on Ongi kuden[edit]

Content you added to the above article appears to have been copied from http://www.dharmadhatu-center.org/lotus-sutra.pdf or elsewhere online. The original document may be public domain, but the translation is likely not. Unfortunately, for copyright reasons, the content had to be removed and will have to stay out, unless it can be proven that this translation is in the public domain. Regardless of the copyright issue, Wikipedia is not the place to post the material in its entirety. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 19:33, 13 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Diannaa: I just noticed this article existed (I was actually planning on creating it myself right now, and was surprised it already had been and scarcely a month ago), but isn't it standard procedure to rev-del copyvio material like this because the publicly-visible past versions of the article also need to be under a free license? Also pinging User:TonyBallioni who's better on this stuff than me (was even the one who told me that this was necessary back in December). Hijiri 88 (やや) 14:52, 21 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Hijiri 88. I didn't perform revision deletion because I don't know for sure whether or not the translation is in the public domain. For sure the original document is public domain. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 16:36, 21 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, okay. That works, I guess. I tend to think playing it safe is better, but I'll do a bit more sleuthing. Hijiri 88 (やや) 23:33, 21 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Better source request for File:Ueki.jpeg[edit]

Thanks for your upload to Wikipedia:

You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright status of the image because the source is incomplete. Please consider clarifying the exact source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact Web page where you found the image, rather than only giving the source domain, search engine, pinboard, aggregator, or the URL of the image file itself. Please update the image description with a URL that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source in a complete manner. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page or me at my talk page. Thank you. ShakespeareFan00 (talk) 08:10, 6 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
