A tag has been placed on Alex Walter requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a redirect to an article talk page, image description page, image talk page, mediawiki page, mediawiki talk page, category talk page, portal talk page, template talk page, help talk, user page, or user talk page from the article space.

If you think that your page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Wikipedia is not your personal playground[edit]

I've just blocked your "friend" Kiranhannover for persistent disruptive editing and vandalism - so far your behaviour, unlike his, hasn't spilled outside your userspace. However, I noticed in passing that you are not editing in a manner that demonstrates you are here to build an encyclopedia - if all you want to do is write silly messages to one another, might I suggest Facebook or Twitter as an alternative? Wikipedia isn't a social network; if you want to create encyclopedic content you are welcome here, if not - not so much. Yunshui  14:43, 7 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free image use[edit]

Hi Phantoo1999.

Not every image file you find on Wikipedia is licensed the same way. Some files are in the public domain for one reason or another while others have been released under a free license compatible with Wikipedia's copyright policy. There are also files which are licensed as non-free content and the use of these files must be in accordance with Wikipedia's non-free content use policy. One of the relevant requirements is WP:NFCC#9 which states that non-free images are only allowed to be used in the article namespace. What this means is that non-free images are not allowed to be used on userpages, userspace subpages such as sandboxes, talk pages, Wikipedia noticeboards, etc, or in userboxes, templates, etc. I've noticed you've added quite a lot of non-free images to User:Phanto1999/Templates/TeamLogo. Not only is do such a thing not allowed per WP:UP#Non-free images, it's a problem because you've added the template you've created to other pages where the non-free use of the images is not allowed. Image use can be tricky and lots of people make mistakes, but as long as you check the image's licensing before adding it anywhere you should be fine. If you have any questions about this, feel free to ask at WP:MCQ. -- Marchjuly (talk) 02:40, 11 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:SV Stahl Thale logo.jpg[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:SV Stahl Thale logo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:59, 13 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for May 1[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2017–18 in German football, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Mercedes-Benz Arena. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Not quite I'm afraid. To add content you must cite a reliable source. Since most of its content is user-generated, Transfermarkt is not considered reliable and therefore should not be cited in articles. Sir Sputnik (talk) 00:19, 29 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on 2021–22 DFB-Pokal requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://osttopst.co/live-online-casino/dfb-supercup-2020.php. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. coord precision errors[edit]

Your sandbox now contains several coords with log_dir= but without the corresponding lat_dir=. This causes precision error to be flagged in Category:Location maps with different longitude and latitude precisions. Ordinarily, non-articles are excluded from these kinds of tracking categories, but this one can't do that. So your sandbox is the only page in the category. These errors will have to get fixed if this is ever used in article space. Would you mind adding lat_dir back in so this category will go back to having no errors? Thanks.
