Spelling[edit]

Well, the "z" was in there before you corrected the missing "i", so you didn't actually introduce an error where there wasn't one before. And "z" would be "conzidered" correct in the US, but since it's a UK registered ship I thought the British spelling would be more appropriate. There are plenty more US spellings in the article if you wanted to go on a binge. Rees11 (talk) 15:17, 24 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your signature[edit]

The closing bold code ''' in your signature is inside a wikilink while the start was outside. This effectively causes the closing ''' to be ignored so the rest of the signature including time stamp becomes bold. Please fix the signature so it doesn't end with an open bold, for example by changing

'''[[User:Phantomsteve|<font color="#307D7E">Phantom</font><font color="#55CAFA">Steve</font>''']]

to

'''[[User:Phantomsteve|<font color="#307D7E">Phantom</font><font color="#55CAFA">Steve</font>]]'''

  • Thanks for letting me know, PrimeHunter! I have amended it as per your advice! It's amazing how easy it is to not notice something like that PhantomSteve (Contact Me, My Contribs) 20:27, 28 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Mass Subpage Deletion[edit]

Have you considered Twinkle? You can get it in the Gadgets tabs under My Preferences. Read more here: WP:TW ---Scarce |||| You shouldn't have buried me, I'm not dead--- 07:48, 30 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, I see ---Scarce |||| You shouldn't have buried me, I'm not dead--- 07:56, 30 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Just so you know, I don't think you should delete a subpage and copy and paste it to another, a full revision history maybe be required. Next time, click the move tab and type in the desired new name, saves time too! ---Scarce |||| You shouldn't have buried me, I'm not dead--- 08:57, 30 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

your help desk question[edit]

Just so you know it's largely been resolved by the community that you only need to inform the person about cc-by-sa 3.0, although it is multi-licenced. That is what OTRS volunteers have been advised and it came from within the Foundation. I have dealt with politicians here in Australia and I'm quite happy with how much easier CC is to explain to them than what we had - the notion of free content is hard enough without pages of legal gobbledygook. Hope this makes things easier from your point of view :) Orderinchaos 18:50, 30 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
