Attention needed at username change request[edit]

Hello. A renamer or clerk has responded to your username change request, but requires clarification before moving forward. Please follow up at your username change request entry as soon as possible. Thank you. ‐‐1997kB (talk) 10:53, 18 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Philosophy2. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Rapture Tour".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! Lapablo (talk) 09:02, 29 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Trouted[edit]

Whack!

You've been whacked with a wet trout.

Don't take this too seriously. Someone just wants to let you know that you did something silly.

Please don’t change the section headers on our April Fools' Day pages. Such behavior was banned earlier this year. Now you know. —pythoncoder (talk | contribs) 16:04, 13 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2020 Elections voter message[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2020 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 7 December 2020. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2020 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 02:59, 24 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Philosophy2 (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

The reason for my block is unclear. I do not understand what it is, since the notice is talking about an "internet service provider", which I cannot be using since I do not know what it is. This is the fourth time I have been blocked after doing nothing wrong, and I still do not know why these blocks happen every once in a while. Please clear the reason for this block up for me, since I do not understand why I have been blocked, and, like the past three times, have not done anything against Wikipedia policy. Philosophy2 (talk) 21:02, 19 December 2020 (UTC)

Decline reason:

You are not directly blocked. Unfortunately, there's nothing I can do unless you exactly follow the instructions which appear when you attempt to edit. I can speculate (but that's all this is)... perhaps you were using a proxy or a vpn? If so, that'll trigger a block for 24 hours. It doesn't imply you've done anything wrong, only that proxies and vpn's are prohibited here. Yamla (talk) 22:25, 19 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
