ISBN fix may need improvement

This ISBN fix appears to work, but the syntax is wrong and will probably cause problems in the future. The square bracket that is at the end of the previously linked URL needs to be moved to the left of the ISBN template. – Jonesey95 (talk) 21:45, 10 January 2018 (UTC)

new Mexico

Please do not blindly change "new Mexico" to "New Mexico" without understanding the context. There is no "New Mexico border wall". ―Mandruss  19:21, 14 January 2018 (UTC)

@Mandruss: My intention was general cleanup for in Wikipedia entries for spelling and formatting, not to make controversial edits. However, I understand this and I won't make this mistake again. Pkbwcgs (talk) 19:24, 14 January 2018 (UTC)
I've pulled your AWB access. There are just too many complaints about your editing with it. Yes, they're relatively minor, but it shows that you're not paying enough attention to what you're doing. You are welcome to appeal this decision at WP:AN. Primefac (talk) 02:10, 15 January 2018 (UTC)
@Primefac: I really, really do promise I will behave with AWB. I don't know anything about politics. I haven't done anything wrong. Secondly, this edit has been made with WPCleaner. Please give my AWB access back. Pkbwcgs (talk) 16:16, 15 January 2018 (UTC)
This is not an AWB edit. Pkbwcgs (talk) 16:24, 15 January 2018 (UTC)
Done. Please consider this to be your last chance, though; take your time, make sure you're confident in what you're doing, and don't feel like you must click "save" if you're unsure of something. Primefac (talk) 16:36, 15 January 2018 (UTC)

Re: Recent change

Hi there Pkbwcgs. I realise that double square brackets around external links or unbalanced brackets are usually to be corrected. But I reviewed each and every instance before reverting, and in each case the usage was deliberate. Please have another look: Cephalopod size#References. I've used square brackets to add notes to some of the references. Likewise, the other changes were to direct quotes, where I have quoted the original sources exactly. mgiganteus1 (talk) 18:46, 24 January 2018 (UTC)

(talk page stalker) Putting a <nowiki /> between the two closing square brackets would probably achieve the desired effect while removing the page from any list of pages with errors. I haven't tested it, but it should work. – Jonesey95 (talk) 22:18, 24 January 2018 (UTC)

I am currently using AWB to clean up the pages in Category:Pages using infobox rail line with deprecated parameters. However, there are more than 1,000 pages in this category. It is okay if I cleanup all 1,310 pages or do I need a bot account? Pkbwcgs (talk) 19:07, 29 January 2018 (UTC)

It's not a controversial maintenance task, so you're welcome to fix them yourself. Primefac (talk) 19:13, 29 January 2018 (UTC)
Thanks. Pkbwcgs (talk) 19:14, 29 January 2018 (UTC)
If you don't feel like doing it yourself, I'm happy to file a BRFA for ya. Primefac (talk) 19:20, 29 January 2018 (UTC)
Actually, I'm just going to do that anyway. Primefac (talk) 19:22, 29 January 2018 (UTC)
I am doing it right now. Pkbwcgs (talk) 19:23, 29 January 2018 (UTC)
Okay. Less work for me! Primefac (talk) 19:25, 29 January 2018 (UTC)
@Primefac:  Done - 726 edits across 1,310 pages means that fixing is done. Pkbwcgs (talk) 21:24, 29 January 2018 (UTC)

Reviewing AfC submissions

I would love to review AfC submissions. Am I allowed to review AfC submissions? Pkbwcgs (talk) 19:25, 31 January 2018 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: All The Tropes

Hello Pkbwcgs. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of All The Tropes, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Was recently self-redirected in a GF edit, it seems. Original target is fine. Thank you. ~ Amory (utc) 18:27, 1 February 2018 (UTC)
