This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a search with the contents of Georgia Land Lotteries, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Georgia Land Lottery. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. Hold on a sec before copy/pasting![edit]

More very soon  Chzz  ►  15:27, 16 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry - did not understand the process. I reverted the old page and will follow the procedures under Moving a Page.

Ah, cool. I actually just had an 'edit conflict' when I tried to save this; I wanted to pop that note on, to stop you, before it got complicated! I was about to write this, and I guess it pretty well explains...

I noticed that you just made a blank page called Georgia Land Lotteries. I think, from your edit summary, that you are planning to copy and paste from Georgia Land Lottery, intending on changing the name. Please do not do it that way.

If you move an article by copying and pasting, we lose all of the history - who edited the article, and when.

Instead, to change the name of a page, you should move it.

If you would like someone else to move it for you, please put {{helpme}} on this page, followed by your request.

For more help with this, see Wikipedia:Renaming a page.

The blank page that you created will probably be deleted quickly (if it has not already been).

You can also talk to me, and other helpers, with this link.

Thanks,  Chzz  ►  15:36, 16 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

P.S. Hope that clarifies; if you've tried to move Georgia Land Lottery at the moment, it will fail, because of the blank page you made - it'll be deleted very soon though. If you do need any more help with it, just say so below, and I'll see it - or chat to us, we dont bite! Sorry if my first message sounded harsh; I just wanted to get a quick note in! Hope you understand, thanks,  Chzz  ►  15:47, 16 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No, your message did not sound harsh, just appropriately concerned. I successfully moved the page. Thanks for your assistance. Paul K. Graham (talk) 16:15, 16 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Great, cheers,  Chzz  ►  16:30, 16 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated Edward A. Vincent, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Edward A. Vincent. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Student7 (talk) 12:31, 4 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No further thoughts. I am content with the vote. Student7 (talk) 00:42, 12 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for June 16[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Cudjoe Lewis, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Clotilda (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:12, 16 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
