Each article within "Chicago, Illinois" category[edit]

Regarding the question left within my talk page:

"As I look at Category:Cycling in Chicago, Illinois, I am curious about why each article should also be in Category:Chicago, Illinois just because it may be in this category.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTM) 15:52, 31 October 2009 (UTC)"[reply]

Within the document section, where the third level is described, it shows an example of how the use of distinguished categories would meet the needs of the readers. To answer your questions, all articles, related to the City of Chicago, will need to be within Category:Chicago, Illinois so that the distinguished category scheme can be used. No other city, municipality or region uses this scheme to my knowledge so I am against it.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTM) 06:13, 6 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Best practice WikiProject project category schemes[edit]

Is there a category scheme that is documented by another project that can be used as a model for the Chicago Project's category scheme documents? Pknkly (talk) 20:44, 22 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
