Non-free files in your user space

Hey there Pliigi, thank you for your contributions. I am a bot, alerting you that non-free files are not allowed in user or talk space. I removed some files I found on User:Pliigi/Jagex. In the future, please refrain from adding fair-use files to your user-space drafts or your talk page.

  • See a log of files removed today here.

Thank you, -- DASHBot (talk) 05:03, 16 May 2011 (UTC)

War of Legends

Twitter sites are explictly forbidden as External Links by WP:ELNO, except when no other suitable official site is available.

Also, I notice that you never provide an Edit Summary for your changes. This makes it difficult for other editors to work with your changes. Thanks, ELNO Checking (talk) 20:45, 19 May 2011 (UTC)

There aren't other suitable official sites, which is why they should be kept. Sorry about the edit summary. Pliigi (talk) 20:47, 19 May 2011 (UTC)

This link that's already included qualifies as an Official link: http://waroflegends.jagex.com/index.ws War of Legends Official Site. And because Twitter is explicitly mentioned on that site, it's disallowed to have a link in Wikipedia to Twitter. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, the idea is to add information directly here. Its purpose is not to provide outside links to social sites. My suggestion is not to pursue this, because I suspect all your other External Links -- besides the Official Site would also not be allowed. If you take a look at some of the "big name" very heavily monitored articles, such as Lady Gaga and Microsoft you'll get an idea. Sincerely, ELNO Checking (talk) 21:04, 19 May 2011 (UTC)
P.S. I'd suggest putting footnotes in the text, with links to well-written Web pages that support the information. Don't go overboard, though, readers get bored after 10 links or so. Cheers, ELNO Checking (talk) 21:08, 19 May 2011 (UTC)

Herotopia

I see you have started a wiki for Herotopia. I am one of the partners in the company, wanted to add to the page. Can we coordinate? How can I contact you? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gamervideo (talkcontribs) 20:20, 25 May 2011 (UTC)

Thanks for your note. Do you work at Jagex? Can you email us your contact info at info@herotainment.com? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gamervideo (talkcontribs) 21:15, 25 May 2011 (UTC)

Welcome

Welcome!

Hello, Pliigi, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question.

I also hope my comments at Talk:Transformers Online are not too harsh. They're not so much directed at you as at the other, more experienced editors involved. But we all make mistakes, see User:Andrewa/creed for my thoughts on this and more.

But mainly, Welcome. Andrewa (talk) 17:24, 17 June 2011 (UTC)

Transformers universes

I made the move because its a plural and nothing else listed there makes sense as a plural. --User:Woohookitty Disamming fool! 11:58, 27 June 2011 (UTC)

Not a bother. :) Oftentimes, people do that because someday an article could be made from that title. I could see an article on the different universes in the Transformers world (not a fan but I have a co-worker who is big into it). --User:Woohookitty Disamming fool! 12:39, 27 June 2011 (UTC)

New Page Triage engagement strategy released

Hey guys!

I'm dropping you a note because you filled out the New Page Patrol survey, and indicated you'd be interested in being contacted about follow-up work. This is to notify you that we've finally released both the initial documentation about the project and also the engagement strategy, which sets out how we plan to work with the community on this. Please give both a read, and leave any comments or suggestions you have on the talkpage, on my talkpage, or in my inbox - okeyes@wikimedia.org.

It's awesome to finally get to start work on this! :). Okeyes (WMF) (talk) 02:02, 3 March 2012 (UTC)
