Veterans Today and Kourosh Ziabari

Thank you for finally creating this page. VT is used in many wp articles as a reference, yet has not article that one can use to research this controversial media source. It is much more useful to have a balanced article on this outlet rather than to dismiss it as a harmless "fringe" media source. I request that you drop your nomination to delete Kourosh Ziabari. It would be more productive to work to balance the article which currently paints Ziabari in a light very favorable as if he were an unofficial spokesman of the government of Ahmadinejad and the Islamic Republic of Iran. The article currently does not reflect any criticism of the policies of Iran that Ziabari is devoted to defending. The Ziabari article as it stands identifies many other anti-Israel and pro-Iran personalities and media outlets that would be lost if the article were to be deleted rather than expanded and balanced. Other sources that could use a page are Salem News, Stephan Lendman, and Franklin Lamb who also promote views similar to Ziabari and Ahmadinejad. Many media sources which support Iran or its allies such as Hezbollah or Assad are dismissed as "fringe" or "conspiracy theorists", but escape scrutiny as possible deliberate sources of propoganda and disinformation. Franklin Lamb is another peace activist who should have an article, though previous articles have been deleted for lack of notability, although he appears on many alternative media outlets including Russia Today, supported by the Russian government, and PressTV which is supported by the Iranian government. If you hold views contrary to people like Lamb and Lendman, then those who use wikipedia would be better served by a balanced article which clearly identifies their motivations and associations and who they work for / with (namely nations hostile to the US and Israel, and friendly to Russia, Iran, and Palestine) rather than using "lack of notability" or "fringe" as an excuse to delete media sources that have at least indirect connections to governments antagonistic to the US and the west in general. (talk page stalker) Tumadoireacht, your edit: removed "after inspection" but inspection is required; changed "separated" to "cut" which is simply not true, the separation is done with a blunt instrument; changed "foreskin is removed" to "foreskin is cut off" which isn't true in the case of a Plastibell circumcision (one of the most common types), in which the Plastibell clamps around and causes the foreskin to necrose and separate, which is why the more general "removed" is more accurate than "cut off"; added a duplicate mention in paragraph 2 of the lead that it may be "undertaken for aesthetic, religious, or cultural" reasons, and this information is already in paragraph 3. Also remember not to edit war: reverting once is ok but after that you should dicuss.

I believe I have adequately addressed your issues with the Jon Wolfsthal article. I removed the tag about lack of citation, because I believe everything is now adequately cited. For the moment I've left {{advert}} in place since there are really no objective criteria as to whether that has been addressed. Assuming you agree that the article no longer reads like an advertisement, I would ask that you remove that tag. If you disagree, I'd appreciate some specifics. As for notability, I suppose it could be contested, but a published author who has held several prominent positions and has been described by the office of the V.P of the United States as "a globally recognized expert on nuclear security and nonproliferation," it is certainly not so obviously non-notable for a PROD to be in order. If you want to have it deleted, please initiate a deletion discussion, because I'd like to have the chance to defend the article. Thanks.

Editing the pogrom article on that material was a mistake on my part. The latter two edits I don't believe violate the topic ban as I understand it (please tell me if I'm wrong). The USS Liberty incident was an incident between the U.S. and Israel. I reverted some pretty obvious vandalism. On the Falk page, I was just adding a wikilink. Syrian Civil War general sanctions

As a result of a community discussion, long-term and persistent problems in the editing of articles related to the Syrian Civil War, broadly construed, have been acknowledged. The community has therefore enacted broad editing restrictions, described at Talk:Syrian Civil War/General sanctions and below.

• Any uninvolved administrator may, at his or her own discretion, impose sanctions on any editor working in the area of conflict if, despite being warned, that editor repeatedly or seriously fails to adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, any expected standards of behavior, or any normal editorial process.
• The sanctions imposed may include blocks of up to one year in length, bans from editing any page or set of pages within the area of conflict, bans on any editing related to the topic or its closely related topics, restrictions on reverts or other specified behaviors; or any other measures which the imposing administrator believes are reasonably necessary to ensure the smooth functioning of the project.
• Prior to any sanctions being imposed, the editor shall be given a warning with a link to this decision and, where appropriate, should be counseled on specific steps that he or she can take to improve his or her editing in accordance with relevant policies and guidelines.
• Sanctions imposed may be appealed to the imposing administrator or at the appropriate administrators' noticeboard.

These editing restrictions may be applied to any editor for cause, provided the editor has been previously informed of the decision. This message is to so inform you. This message does not necessarily mean that your current editing has been deemed a problem; this is a template message crafted to make it easier to notify any user who has edited the topic of the existence of these sanctions.

You have just done exactly the same thing again. Do you even know why you reverted? Reverting without cause is akin to vandalism, and is highly disruptive.

If I notice you doing this one last time I will open a new AE, on the basis of the underlined:

Persian Gulf - your reverting of my edit

Hello, Plot; you have reverted my [[6]], citing that it "Does not qualify as "SIC" - body of water called by different names by different entities". I beg to differ : bodies of water - or any other geographical feature, for that matter - are not there to be called by whatever some entity or other may wish to refer to them as. Allow me to explain by way of an example : if I were to wake up one day, write a book on the subject of, say, the Timor Sea but decide to call it the "Australia Sea". If you, Plot, were then to make reference to my work in Wikipedia, would you not "[sic]" it? By your reasoning, I - as an entity - have decided to just call it something else. I know this may sound like a long-winded way of making a point, and I am sure you know what I mean ... I will not simply go back and re-revert to my version, but will wait for your response to this.
