Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Sign your messages with four tildes (~~~~), be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Happy editing! Cheers, Cassiopeia talk 09:11, 31 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Combat Press[edit]

Hi Ply.T, Good day. Pls stop linking Combat Press as there is no Combat Press article in Wikipedia. Cassiopeia talk 08:34, 31 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Cassiopeia, Thank you for contact me :) It is in draft. Please help for AFC. Ply.T (talk) 08:37, 31 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
HI Ply.T, I will look at the draft to see if the article meets the Wikipedia notability requirements to have a page in Wikipedia main space. Pls do not link any more articles further. I need to unlink all the articles you have done then only will look into the draft space. As it is a little late over here. I might need to look at your draft page tmr. I will contact you again once I have review the draft article. Stay safe and best. Cassiopeia talk 08:51, 31 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Cassiopeia Thank you for response and helping. I just started working on Wikipedia. Maybe it's because of my interest and taste:) However, I'll use your experiences. Ply.T (talk) 08:55, 31 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Ply.T, you seem to be know how to know how to edit Wikipedia as well as know Wikitext. May be you have edited Wikipedia in other languages such as in Thai Wikipedia. Pls note all Wikipedia sister sites (different languages) work independently from each other and at times, they do have different guidelines. English (EN) Wikipedia guidelines are particularly strict especially for the notability of a company. Page in draft page is not in the main space of EN Wikipedia and even many articles in the main space do not mean they pass the notability guidelines and they will be eventually be nominated for deletion if the subjects/articles do not meet the guidelines. I am one of the new page and draft article reviewer and I will look into your draft space tmrw. You are welcome to pop into my talk page if you need any help as I am also one of the mentor for new editors. Stay safe and best. Cassiopeia talk 09:11, 31 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Cassiopeia I'm glad to meet you at the beginning of my entry into Wikipedia. I'm fluent in various programming languages. I always followed my friend who worked in Thai Wikipedia, Sometimes I helped and learned from him in writing or editing. Unfortunately, he passed away a few months ago, then I decided to start writing in Wikipedia. I hope I can be useful with your help friends:) Ply.T (talk) 09:20, 31 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Ply.T, Learning editing Wikipedia and knowing some of the fundamental guidelines is a uphill effort as they are so many guidelines in Wikipedia. It would slightly easy for you since you know various programming languages and learnt from your friend (btw, sorry about your friend passing). I remember when I started editing Wikipedia, without knowing where to seek help, it was difficult until someone sent me a Welcome messages so I could follow some links and started reading Wikipedia guidelines for months every night for a few hours. I am glad you are interested in editing Wikipedia and I believe it will be a very fruitful and joyful journey for you. It is late here and will pen off here. Welcome to Wikipedia. stay safe and best. Cassiopeia talk 09:33, 31 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Ply.T, Sorry I was a little bit busy as I was working during the weekend .
(1) I noticed that your draft article has been reviewed by other reviewer and the draft has been declined. Pls read the comment/message on the page made by the reviewer to understand the reasons of decline.
(2) On your user page, you have indicated you work as a sport journalist, may I know are you still working in the field and in what sport are you covering?
(3) You have been subjected to sock puppet investigate, and claimed that you have edited on your deceased friends account and also using unauthorize bot in English Wikipedia which is a violation of Wikipedia guidelines. Put simply, you have a problem here and a serious one. To proof you are a real person by providing your social media accounts does not help here. (I have a look at your FB and know that you are a BJJ practitioner and body weight PT - got to say I am impressed with your planche) My advice to you is to explain yourself in "details" of the allegation you are facing without any form of deceptive or hiding anything at all (come clean) in the sock page - see here, for that would be your best bet since you are a new editor in EN Wikipedia, for being a Sock is serious offend and will block indefinitely and globally. (my opinion is that you know something about editing, and not knowing basic Wikipedia guidelines and and wants to progress way too quickly in editing and using your programming skills to get around (a big no no) in EN Wikipedia - I have offered you assistance as a mentor but unfortunately you didn't take on that offer). Cassiopeia talk 04:06, 4 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Cassiopeia, I also only have access to Wikipedia from Monday to Friday.
(1) I need your help here because I don't know why an article that is so well known has not been transferred to MainSpace.
(2) Currently assisting some professors as an assistant. Because I'm a PhD student and I don't have enough time. While a student in the US, I was active in gathering information on physiology & anatomy, as well as its effects on the martial arts.
(3) In fact, I accepted you as a mentor. This is a misunderstanding due to Combat Press article or my access request. I feel that some people are attacking me and the reason isn't clear to me. I've been accused of having several accounts, but this is actually my only account. I don't know what will happen in the end, but if my account close, it's a bad experience and I may distance myself from Wikipedia in general :( Ply.T (talk) 05:03, 4 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi,
(1) Again, pls read the message/comment from the reviewer as per your draft page (Combat Press) of why the article would not merit a page in main space.
(2) As mentioned, you need to come clean, dont even try to deceptive, and explain yourself in "detail" in of (i) your account, (ii) using bot/script and (iii) you edited in your deceased friends account at [1] and be civil in your explanation for that is your best bet. (note: no one is attacking you but we the editors would always follow the Wikipedia guidelines.) Cassiopeia talk 05:21, 4 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi,
(1) I tried very hard to find reliable sources. But in fact, this website is the source itself and in many articles it's mentioned as a source and even a ranking.
(2) In fact, no bot was used. I linked them by copying and pasting [[Combat Press]] the following text into articles. So I opened all the articles in the Google Chrome tabs and then quickly linked them through the search the web on Chrome (Ctrl+F). Ply.T (talk) 05:56, 4 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Ply.T
(1) I have a look at your draft Combat Press, the sources are not independent, reliable (IRS) sources that covers/talks about the subject in detail and in length and not only merely passing mentioned, for such it fails the notability guidelines. If there are no significant coverage IRS could be found then the subject does not merit a page in Wikipedia.
(2) pls read my comments again and go to [2] and explain yourself. What you did here and telling me would not help you at all as it is not the right venue. Cassiopeia talk 06:14, 4 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Cassiopeia
(1) I'll do my best to find more resources. Maybe I can get help from my foreign friends to search in other languages.
(2) Done. Hope it's help. Ply.T (talk) 06:20, 4 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Hi. I've already put my reasons on WP:SPI, but it seems that it hasn't been paid attention to. * About IP: I use a university public device. Where more than 1,200 people may have access. * About Martial arts: I'm a martial artist with a degree in sports physiology and anatomy from prestigious universities in the US and Thailand. It's normal to write about my interests. * About Userpage: I can verify all the information I put on my user page. Including passport, ID card, university and educational qualifications, etc. * About Sockpuppetry: everyone knows that Wikipedia doesn't work by VPN. I think those who requested me to Sockpuppetry, couldn't stand a newcomer who writes well. * Verification: You can check my name on Google, Facebook, Instagram and other social media. This is my first and only account with a clear and real identity on Wikipedia. It's unfair to be blocked only after 5 days. Please check more closely. The content and quality of my edits and articles are on the growth path of Wikipedia. I request the admin to WP:CONDUNBLOCK. Sincerely. Ply.T (talk) 10:04, 4 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Procedural close. This account is global locked so a local unblock here is moot anyways. -FASTILY 22:02, 4 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
