April 2011[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please be aware of Wikipedia's policy that biographical information about living persons must not include unsupported or inaccurate statements. Whenever you add possibly controversial statements about a living person to an article or any other Wikipedia page, as you did to Rabindra Sangeet‎, you must include proper sources. If you don't know how to cite a source, you may want to read Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners for guidelines. Thank you. Please don't add names here unless we have articles for them, thank you - besides BLP issues, see WP:PEOPLE Dougweller (talk) 06:50, 17 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Serols. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Abul Barkat (economist)—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help desk. Thanks. Serols (talk) 15:49, 25 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The person's last name is "Barakat" not "Barkat". In Bengali, this is "বারাকাত" and not "বারকাত". Pmonon (talk) 15:52, 25 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. Serols (talk) 15:50, 25 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

There was no vandalism from my part of the activities. In my opinion, you are wrong in your understanding of the matter. The person's last name is "Barakat" not "Barkat". In Bengali, this is "বারাকাত" and not "বারকাত". If you check, you will see that I am right and how did you support distorting a person's name? Pmonon (talk) 15:59, 25 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
