A tag has been placed on Pointlessweb, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because it is an article about a certain web site, blog, forum, or other community of web users that does not assert the importance or significance of that web location. If you plan to provide more notable material to the article, I advise you to do so immediately, and also put a note on Talk:Pointlessweb. An administrator should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 1 under Articles. Please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources which verify their content. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and then immediately add such material.Veinor (ヴエノル(talk)) 05:45, 14 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia documents Notable websites. Someone's Comcast homepage, not reported on or linked to anywhere on the web, doesn't even come close to qualifying. Fan-1967 15:33, 14 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

... and yet again[edit]

Please stop. If you continue to create inappropriate pages such as Pointlessweb, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Fan-1967 23:44, 14 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry you don't like it[edit]

Wikipedia is not for helping promote unknown web pages. It is for documenting websites that are already notable per our standards at WP:WEB. Your homepage does not qualify. Fan-1967 18:17, 26 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yet yet again[edit]

This is your last warning.
The next time you create an inappropriate page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Veinor (ヴエノル(talk)) 00:42, 30 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Reply to Pointlessweb[edit]

Check this out. [1]. this is a place that will allow you to set up a website and have a domain for free. Hope that helps you. That is sort of outside the scope of our initial discussion though which was that your can't promote your site on wikipedia. Sorry. It ain't gonna happen and not just because I say so. Anyone else here would say the same thing. Hope the solution I suggested works out for you and please dont keep recreating the page that has been deleted as I see you just did. It may not look like it but people are actually being fairly nice to you. If it was me having to delete that page over and over again, I'd be way more of a hardass about it and have your account blocked by now. Now go thou and sin no more. It has become apparent that your account is only being used for vandalism, so it has been blocked indefinitely.

wikipedia not for promotion[edit]

Wikipedia isn't for promotion. You have a cool sight and all, but you can't advertise it on Wikipedia. Sorry. WmCliff 00:54, 30 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I am a simple teenager. I made a great site, but it is hard to find because it is a sub-domain. Every time I do something on Wikipedia, I am always burnt to a crisp by other users who mes my work up. I have freedom of speech and can do what I want on Kikipedia. What I do isn't nappropriet. What I do isn't hamfull. I was not advertising my site, or promoting it. I was only making an easily accessable link. Then, I tried making the history of my site instead of a link. I had to name it "poinlessweb1", because "pointlessweb" was blocked before. I applid the hangon tag and I planned to add to it the ext day, but NawlinWiki deleted it anyway. I was than blocked. Not for a day, not for a week, not for a year, but it has "been blocked indefinitely". I would say that I think some adminastrators are abusing their power, but all my contributions are deleted, so I don't think anyone is interested in my opinion anyway.

Decline reason:

Question[edit]

Do you want to be unblocked so you can find a way to contribute to Wikipedia, or do you want to be unblocked so you can keep trying to put an article here about your web page? Fan-1967 02:44, 1 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

RE:Fan-1967[edit]

Answer: I guess I could stop. I can contribute if I wanted to. However, I have in the past, but it was still deleted and my old account has still blocked.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Pointlessweb (talkcontribs)

That's because all your contributions were about your website. You've been told by everyone, but just won't accept, that it doesn't belong here. So the question is: are you going to keep trying? Fan-1967 02:48, 1 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No. I give up. I'm done with wikipedia. I bid you farewell...................
