Confirmed permission won't help; here are some suggestions instead[edit]

Hi, Post.Info2017. Sorry to hear that your initial experience on Wikipedia has been negative; Wikipedia's system can be confusing at first. I'm afraid that the confirmed permission will not help in your situation; image upload to Wikipedia itself is mostly for the occasional Fair use image that are used in articles The right place for a freely licensed image, such as one you own the rights for, is Wikimedia Commons, the same place where you uploaded before. The notices on your Wikimedia Commons talk page give examples of copyright tags you could use. If you're the copyright holder, there should be an option to say that and select an appropriate license tag when you upload the picture using the Upload Wizard. If the photo has been published elsewhere before, it would probably be best to send an email to the OTRS team to prove that you are the copyright holder.

I'd also like to note that though the image was deleted, your draft article is still up at Draft:Sheree Ali. The presence or absence of an image will not affect your draft's chances of being accepted; images are nice but never required.

Lastly, I'd like to offer a bit of advice on your article. I see that it's still a work in progress, but you should have citations to reliable, independent sources for every statement in the article, so that readers can verify that those statements are true. Everything in the article should be based on a specific source. I would also avoid terms and phrases like "maverick", "There were conflicts from non-visionaries", "a tour de force mechanism" and "positive personality amazed many co-workers". Phrases that are so glowing like those run afoul of the neutral point of view policy. The purpose of a Wikipedia article is to summarize what reliable, independent sources have written about a subject. Avoid being overly positive about the subject of the article; in fact, err on the side of dry, detached writing. Howicus (Did I mess up?) 00:48, 27 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Sheree Ali[edit]

Hello, Post.Info2017. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Sheree Ali".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Sam Sailor 17:15, 19 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
