Hi
Please don't just remove the notability tag from Van Vlissingen & Company - you have to prove the notability of this company, especially since it has been deleted twice before, if for different reasons. The links you provided so far don't do that.
Please also have a look at WP:FAQ/Business. And lastly, blanking a page and removing other people's content is usually considered vandalism, even if it is your own talk page. Cheers, Amalthea (talk) 14:28, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

And that's why you did it again?
The paragraph you added actually made the article worse, in my opinion - it sounds like straight from a promotional brochure, and you still haven't established notability.
Also, I've moved the previous intro section back to the top (see WP:LEAD).

You still have to establish notability of the company, according to WP:Notability. That's the most important thing. Wikipedia is not for advertising, it's an encyclopaedia (WP:NOTADVERTISING). The company must have had "significant coverage in reliable secondary sources that are independent of the subject", otherwise its article will get deleted again.
What you have to keep in mind is that all your claims of noteworthyness *must* be verifiable according to WP:VERIFIABILITY. A generic link to [1] is not enough by far! Find newspapers that have written about that company. If you can't find that, then the company probably is not notable enough. See WP:BFAQ#COMPANY then.

That link you added managed to prove that this company exists, but how is it supposed to establish notability? My quote said "significant coverage in reliable secondary sources that are independent of the subject". --Amalthea (talk) 16:26, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
ETA: And this is not a question of "ideas", it's about notability. I know lots of middle sized companies that don't have an entry here, including my own, simply because they are not notable enough to be listed in an encyclopedia. And I'm getting the feeling that this is true for Van Vlissingen & Company, too. Cheers, Amalthea (talk) 16:30, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I like the changes that you made to the web page PreHerodotus, i think your work needs some help but this is definatly a major part of Comerical and Industrial Economics in Northern Illinois. I hope you continue working on the page through since it needs alot of work.Try finding more sources and mabye try to make some of those dead links more useful. I also don't really like your piece on modern history it doesn't fit as well with the piece. Also i wish others could try to submit information to the site. Peace Out! -Yearagain Ps. I made the other article you created into a stub through that would be a better. Peace Out!- Yearagain (talk) 17:44, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
