Yola Nash, MS.
Yola Nash is a Polish-American Pop-Jazz singer, a radio/TV host, producer as well as known keynote speaker on CPR.

Nash made headlines by saving a performer's life, while hosting an event by performing CPR onstage in front of thousands onlookers. In recognition for this action, received a Commendation of Heroic Action from the Governor of the State of New Jersey, Richard J. Codey. Was also congratulated by such honorable organizations as the American Heart Association and President Bill Clinton’s Foundation.

Inspired by that dramatic event she formed a nonprofit organization called CPR Awareness.org, www.cprawareness.org to promote CPR. Nash also established a CPR Awareness Day of NYC with support of Mayor of NYC Michael Bloomberg. And has been producing series of CPR/jazz concerts “Feel the Beat” to promote the CPR life-saving measure. In recognition for her exemplary work she has received a special Proclamation from Mayor of NYC Michael Bloomberg. Yola Nash actively serves as a Speaker on CPR and created a special school program called “Feel the Beat/CPR Awareness for Young People” The initiative has being enthusiastically supported by NJ councilwoman Izabela Bacza. Nash visits universities, high schools, various companies to teach people about the importance of CPR and share her inspiring CPR story.

On April 25th, 2012 she will be a keynote speaker at the annual conference organized by The Colorado CPR Association.

She currently resides in NYC. After receiving her master’s degree in Psychology, RN degree in Nursing and finishing her education in Fine Arts (Paintings, Drawings) in Maria Curie University and prestigious private KUL University in Poland she settled in USA. In New York studied R&B and jazz with Dee Jackson, Patti LaBelle and jazz professor of Manhattan School of Music Nancy Marano.

Music Career
She has performed and recorded with the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra and legendary, multi-Grammy winning trumpeter Wynton Marsalis. Sung for the Pope John Paul II. She sung the title song for an independent Asian-American film “Destiny”. She has recorded and produced with (Norah Jones’s) engineer Pete DeBoar and the Grammy winning (Eminem and Kid Rock’s) producer-engineer Bob Ebeling.

Nash successfully debuted with her album "Another Girl" on Top Shelf Rec. and Nile Rodgers’s Sumthing Distribution (NY, 2004). Her original single "I wanna be loved by you" quickly climbed the radio charts all over the country. During it's first week out the beautiful, soulful, jazzy ballad reached #1 place as "Most Added". Shortly after it was chosen as Best New Music by prestigious FMQB music magazine.

Nash’s ballad got to the TOP 20 and TOP 40 on AC radio music charts in the US, as well as Top 20 and top 40 on FMQB Magazine and New Music Weekly Magazine (2004). She appeared on the popular NYC TV show "Profiles" with host Mickey Burns between such great stars as: Roberta Flack, Gloria Gaynor, and Chuck Mangione. Nash was a part of the "Women in Rock" series in Los Angeles, appeared on KRLA in LA as well as on various shows; Satellite Sarius/XM Radio in NYC, WKCR Jazz NYC, WBGO Jazz, WOR NYC on Joey Reynolds Show, NY1 TV, Polonia TV, Polmusic TV, WNYE TV.
