You can't simply revert edits without explanation, if you know something more than us, share us the source. if you can't provide a source I have to report you for edit warring. Mohsen1248 (talk) 10:40, 10 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I showed the articles from which I had gotten the information from in the page which are listed as sources 27, 28, and 29 which are from reliable sources all of whom confirmed Makhov's silver including the IOC and is also listed under the International Wrestling database confirming his silver medal reallocation. Also here's the sources [1] [2] [3] PricePRICE (talk) 13:55, 10 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

How selective you are, UWW database here also doesn't show Komeil Ghasemi as the gold medalist. they just didn't update their website YET. and while IOC shows Makhov as silver medalist but still on their own website here they show them as joint gold medalist. and the other source "Tehran Times" is not even reliable. the thing is if IOC doesn't want to upgrade Makhov because of his doping history he also won't be upgraded to silver. he originally won the bronze medal, not silver. IOC is the ultimate source here, as long as they show both of them as joint gold medalist I believe the article should stay the way it is until IOC announces something else.
