Regarding the move of Uruguay–Argentina 2030 FIFA World Cup bid to include Paraguay in the bid[edit]

You may not be well informed, but the official bid is currently Uruguay-Argentina, but not Uruguay-Argentina-Paraguay. The Bid Committee (Comisión Binacional Iniciativa 2030, whose members are Asociación Uruguaya de Fútbol and Asociación del Fútbol Argentino) it's binational: Argentina and Uruguay. Paraguay currently is not part of the bid. CONMEBOL president Alejandro Dominguez unilaterally declared Paraguay was in the bid, and even made a promotional ad, but the bid committee does not confirmed Paraguay would be allowed to join, yet. Therefore, I ask you to revert your move, due to the title being right now misleading and trying to "force the facts" to something is not real and giving wrong facts to the reader, neither properly referenced. If Paraguay finally is confirmed to be part of the bid, the move can be re-reverted. Mediawiki allows us to do this.

I have gotten this links from Spanish version and the web:

As you can see in the 1st source, "Horacio Cartes anunció que Paraguay se suma a Argentina y Uruguay para disputar la plaza del Mundial de fútbol 2030... Confirmo que ya estamos de acuerdo los presidentes de Paraguay, Argentina y Uruguay para pelear la candidatura del Mundial 2030, publicó el jefe de Estado.", but seems that this was not informed to the committee (2nd and 3rd sources)and according to some news sources (e.g. 4th link above) the announcement of Paraguay's president Cartes is part of an electoral strategy, but this is another issue. --Zerabat (talk) 16:05, 7 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Zerabat: I moved it on request at Wikipedia:Help desk#Unable to move pages that have blank target pages. I'm not otherwise involved and you are free to revert the move. I didn't know it was controversial. PrimeHunter (talk) 16:45, 7 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
