Feedback[edit]

What’s your feedback? Procyclone25 (talk) 03:09, 31 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Procyclone25 (talk) 16:33, 2 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

September 2019[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm CurtNeiMeng. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, 1979 Pacific typhoon season, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Curt内蒙 (talk) 17:54, 5 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Your edit does indeed seem to match the cited information on the article for Typhoon Tip, however having read through a number of the Typhoon Season articles, it seems that the generally accepted figure for 'Maximum Winds' is the '10 minutes sustained' figure, not the 1 minute sustained. So I would suggest leaving the figure for Typhoon Tip as it is

Thanks --Curt内蒙 (talk) 18:00, 5 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

10-minute sustained winds[edit]

Please do not remove the 10-minute sustained winds from Pacific typhoon season articles. We use 10-minute winds to follow the convention used by the Japan Meteorological Agency, which is the Regional Specialized Meteorological Center for the West Pacific basin appointed by the World Meteorological Organization. These RSMCs are considered the ultimate sources for tropical cyclone data on Wikipedia. ~ KN2731 {talk · contribs} 04:53, 11 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

‘1 minute sustained winds is the best way to go’[edit]

Vandalism is not anything like what I did Procyclone25 (talk) 18:59, 11 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You may not see what you are doing as vandalism, and you're entitled to have an opinion on whether we should use '10-min' or '1-min', but article space is not the place to express this opinion, since you have already been warned by myself and others to stick to the 10-min figures. If you want to explain why you think 1-min is a better parameter to use, you're welcome to raise it on a talk page. But continuing to edit article space to push your agenda will lead to you losing your editing privileges Curt内蒙 19:22, 11 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • @Meow: This is very far from the first time you need to read this, so please do: WP:NOTVAND. Procyclone25's edits are in error, but not in bad faith.--Jasper Deng (talk) 04:49, 12 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism[edit]

So I am not intentionally doing it, and it is not a hoax, I get you can’t trust websites for information but some of these websites that say different things other than the website I use because the one I am using is the most updated website so vandalism is a very strong and misused word in this situation. Btw I already looked on what they call “vandalism and because of a few misunderstandings doesn’t mean it is intended to be wrong of rude funny or even purposely annoying Procyclone25 (talk) 18:42, 12 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Question regarding edit[edit]

Could you explain why you restored vandalism to Walt Anderson (American football)?-- Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 22:46, 16 September 2019 (UTC).[reply]

I just wanted to see if the reverted finally worked sorry though
