Greetings and thank you for your edit on Atkinson. Unfortunately, I had to revert the edit as it interfered with existing information properly cited. I would love to work with you to re-add the information in the proper format. There are also some other minor issues, such as the amount of detail we put in the WP:LEAD paragraph, the fact that the Oregon Territory did not exist until 8/14/1848, when giving city & state there is a comma after the state as well, we spell out time frames (e.g. 1850 to 1854; not 1850-4), to name a few Wikipedia Manual of Style issues. But again, the main issue has to do with the insertion of information that is either uncited via footnote as the rest of the article generally is, or by inserting the info the original footnote is no longer supporting the information it is now tied to. Basically, when inserting info, be sure that any original cited info is kept with that original citation, and then when inserting new info be sure to add a footnote (see WP:CITE for the technical aspects, or simply put the source info between <ref>these two things</ref> and I can take care of the rest.) Let me know how I can help you improve the article. Aboutmovies (talk) 07:16, 26 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

OK, sounds good, let me know if you will need assistance with integrating the new info. As to replying, etiquette is to either reply here (indenting your reply by starting with ":") or as you did on my talk page. You would not reply under "New section" on your own page (i.e. this page), just use the "Edit" hyperlink to the far right of the header (i.e. George H. Atkinson). Happy editing.
