September 2019[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Hammersoft. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Marjorie Blamey, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. --Hammersoft (talk) 22:32, 20 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of interest editing[edit]

Hi Punkflap. I saw your post on Hammersoft's user talk page. I understand your desire to have the information on the article written about your grandmother be as accurate as possible, but you're going to really need to go about doing that the right way. You have what Wikipedia refers to as a conflict of interest; the word "conflict" seems like something bad, but it really means that you connection the subject of an article may make it hard for you to edit in accordance with Wikipedia's various policies and guidelines. So, the Wikipedia community created a Wikipedia:Plain and simple conflict of interest guide (aka PSCOI guide) to help editors such as yourself navigate through these policies and guidelines and avoids problems. Please read through the PSCOI guide and familiarize yourself with it because following will be the best way to ensure that the article written about your grandmother is in accordance with Wikipedia standards (at least as best as it possibly can be). If you've got any questions about this, please feel free to ask them below. -- Marchjuly (talk) 03:04, 21 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
