Welcome to Wikipedia, Qalila! I'm I dream of horses, and I've been assigned as your mentor. Around 10% of new Wikipedia accounts receive a mentor randomly taken from a list of volunteers. It just means I'm here to help with anything you need! We need to have all kinds of people working together to create an online encyclopedia, so I'm glad you're here. Over time, you will figure out what you enjoy doing the most on Wikipedia.
You might have noticed that you have access to a tutorial and suggested edits. It's recommended that you take advantage of this, as it'll make learning how to edit Wikipedia easier.

Unconstructive editing and inappropriate warning comments[edit]

- Also, your edits at Justin Jin (businessman) and the article Talk page were completely out of line. Your reason for prodding it was invalid, and you are not allowed to re-prod it once it's been removed. Your allegations of socking on the article Talk page are personal attacks. If you have evidence of socking, file a report at WP:SPI. You are way over your head in the kinds of tasks you are taking on for a new editor.--Bbb23 (talk) 20:04, 24 September 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks for your advice sir, I will not attempt deletion for now. But in Justin Jin (businessman) case I found it Deleted in CSD G5, See Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Justin Jin so I tag that. I have not tried any kind of personal attack sir. Qalila (talk) 20:11, 24 September 2023 (UTC)
- I deleted it per WP:G5 because after the comment I posted just above, I found that an SPI report had been created by another editor, and I blocked the creator of the article. Your way of going about it on the article and the article Talk page was completely wrong. I strongly urge you to get experience editing and improving articles rather than doing more admin-like tasks and doing many of them badly.--Bbb23 (talk) 20:19, 24 September 2023 (UTC)
- I appreciate your advice, sir, it means a lot to me. I must admit that I don't have a clear understanding of what exactly I need to do, however, I have been studying some policies that I found on someone's User page and began following them. first of all, I commenced by reverting edits, but after receiving steering from a senior, I switched to enhancing new pages. - I was going to comment on that myself, since I saw a couple of your reversions. Unless an edit is obvious vandalism, there should be an explanation for why the edit is being reverted. TornadoLGS (talk) 21:37, 24 September 2023 (UTC)
