April 2021[edit]

Hello, I have reverted your changes to Fanta again because you keep adding this flag to the article, which is clearly inappropriate. Poltair (talk) 07:52, 20 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

How can a flag used during the Nazi Germany time, when the Fanta was invented be inappropriate? I will undo your "revert". This is a part of the Fanta history, its a fact, and facts cant be inappropriate, unless you are working for Coca-Cola company and want to hide certain parts of the company's history which you think doesn't fit the company marketing guidelines. The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! Edit warring[edit]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at Fanta. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose their editing privileges on that page. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to result in loss of your editing privileges. Thank you. –Novem Linguae (talk) 06:09, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This message seems like a bot, but maybe it isnt. Anyways, the issue here is that users are removing my edit, without any valid reason. And without adding anything to the discussion/talk page. I will continue adding my edit until I get a valid reason for not having fact on the page. Qenneth (talk) 06:31, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hey there. Yeah the message is from a template, but it is still accurate. On Wikipedia, if a page has been a certain way for years, and you make a bold change (B) such as changing Germany to Nazi Germany, and somebody reverts you (R), it's customary to to discuss (D) it with them on the talk page before continuing to add it. WP:BRD. You really shouldn't ever edit war new changes. You should always get consensus for them. You are now at 4 reverts, in clear violation of WP:3RR. All it would take is somebody reporting you to WP:ANEW and you'd be blocked for days. I would encourage you to self revert. –Novem Linguae (talk) 06:59, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not the one doing wrong here, the change is not bold, its just fact. And I have tried discussing and adding elaborate info together with my edits. So I welcome the users who think this is vandalism to explain how its vandalism. If contributing to Wikipedia is considered violation, feel free to block me. A horse is a horse and Fanta was invented in Nazi Germany. Whether you like it or not. Qenneth (talk) 08:30, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of edit warring noticeboard discussion[edit]

Information icon Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. The thread is Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring#User:Qenneth reported by User:Novem Linguae (Result: ). Thank you. –Novem Linguae (talk) 08:54, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I hope you look into what my edit actually is. Since it’s only facts. No vandalism, the info is already existing in the “History” section. Also the users undoing my edit have not given any reason or replied to the discussions page. So I’m looking forward to you deciding if the other users will be blocked due to edit warring. Qenneth (talk) 09:04, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

stop Do not disrupt Wikipedia, as you did here, just to make a WP:POINT. You've been asked by several editors, several times, to get consensus for your edits first. Please do so. — Czello 09:25, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I'm trying to learn how ENG wiki work. I have never encountered this on Swedish Wiki. So I need to know. Do you always need consensus before adding info to a page? If not, why is my change being undone? It not logic. Also, everyone is keen to undo but not contribute or add info regarding why the undo. This is very weird in my opinion. Qenneth (talk) 09:38, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
You do if it's a controversial edit or it's being disputed. Adding a Nazi flag to an article is obviously contentious. — Czello 09:59, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I'm adding the Nazi Germany flag, since this is the country in which it was invented in. I don't see how adding a country's flag is controversial. Its not controversial in other wiki (Spanish, Swedish, Serbian etc) If the flag should not be used, why don't they take it away from Nazi Germany page? By the way, this is the first time anyone of the people regarding this "edit warring" has said anything constructive. Thank you. Qenneth (talk) 10:58, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
