A tag has been placed on Image:QJ in L'Escala , 2006.JPG requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is a redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on [[ Talk:Image:QJ in L'Escala , 2006.JPG|the talk page]] explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. balloonguy (talk) 15:49, 9 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image[edit]

It's a nice photo of you and it would be nice to have it for the encyclopedia. If there is something you don't like about the photo, you can post a request at Wikipedia:Graphics Lab/Photography workshop and ask them to fix it (such as make the background all blue, turn the land into ocean, etc.). Be that as it may, to delete the image, post "{{db-author}}" (everything within the quotes, including the {{}} characters) at the top of File:QJ in L'Escala 2006.jpg. If that does not work, let me know on my talk page. Since you are in the photo, you probably did not push the camera button to take the photo, so you might not be the copyright holder of the work. I also opened a discussion at Wikipedia:Biographies_of_living_persons/Noticeboard#Quintin_Jardine. If you do not delete the photo from Wikipedia, someone likely will add it back into the Quintin Jardine, given that there is no basis to keep it out of the Quintin Jardine article. -- Uzma Gamal (talk) 12:25, 14 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
