Speedy deletion nomination of Prehistoric Gardens[edit]

Hello QrackerJack,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Prehistoric Gardens for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Splitwise requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. A tag has been placed on Afiniti, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

Mandatory paid editing disclosure[edit]

Information icon

Hello QrackerJack. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, and that you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to Black hat SEO.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists, and if it does not, from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:QrackerJack. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=QrackerJack|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, please do not edit further until you answer this message. Jytdog (talk) 17:38, 16 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi QrackerJack. I came here having reached the conclusion of likely paid editing only to see that Jytdog had posted the message above. I see you made a new page today without having responded to this comment. I would ask that you please respond these messages. Best, Barkeep49 (talk) 21:47, 18 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Final warning[edit]

You may be blocked from editing without further warning if you make any further edits without responding to the inquiry you received regarding undisclosed paid editing. Jytdog (talk) 21:59, 18 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Jytdog: I am just seeing these messages after the Thanksgiving craziness (I don't check my talk page much) and I am surprised to see all of this. I've been looking into people that I think should really deserve to be on Wikipedia. I don't know any of these people or companies personally - I just feel like they've done some amazing things and thought it was appropriate to recognize them. I look forward to continuing if I'm able, as I really enjoy finding interesting people to write about. I look forward to hearing from you. QrackerJack (talk) 07:46, 25 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The first two notices were on Nov 16th and Nov 18th, and you still have not responded about whether you are editing for pay. Your edits are exactly like that of a freelancer or someone working for a digital marketing or PR agency. Please be aware that there is a way for paid editors to be present in Wikipedia but only if you follow the process, which I can walk you through. It starts with disclosure. Jytdog (talk) 16:36, 25 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Hey @Jytdog:...It seems I wasn't clear enough. I'm not sure what's going on here but I'm not a paid editor and haven't been paid for any of this work - nothing. I've lost my enthusiams for wiki editing. QrackerJack (talk) 08:19, 26 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Peyton Robertson moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Peyton Robertson, does not meet standards as written to remain published. I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Best, Barkeep49 (talk) 22:00, 18 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Not giving up[edit]

Notice

The article Real Vision has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:NCORP. Coverage fails WP:CORPDEPTH

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. shoy (reactions) 13:42, 17 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Real Vision for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Real Vision is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. scope_creepTalk 08:33, 23 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2019 election voter message[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2019 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 on Monday, 2 December 2019. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2019 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:22, 19 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
