Deletion discussion about The Architect's Essence[edit]

Hello, Quercus2651,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether The Architect's Essence should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Architect's Essence .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks, Vanjagenije (talk) 12:21, 1 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Quercus2651. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
  • Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
  • Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 06:30, 2 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Per this tweet you appear to be the author. Please understand that editing with a COI is highly discouraged for several reasons, and it's usually never a good idea to write an article about things you are personally involved in. Not only can it be seen as self-promotion, but it's easy to take things personally or to see more notability than there might actually be. At this point in time your book does not seem to pass notability guidelines per WP:NBOOK. Before you get upset, understand that it is very, very difficult for most books to pass notability guidelines. Even Joe Hill's NOS4A2 failed notability guidelines up until its release. Sometimes even most NYT bestselling novels and their authors fail notability guidelines. Existing does not in and of itself guarantee notability and we would require coverage in independent and reliable sources to show notability. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 06:30, 2 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, User:Quercus2651/sandbox[edit]

Hello Quercus2651. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "sandbox".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by one of two methods (don't do both): 1) follow the instructions at WP:REFUND/G13, or 2) copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|User:Quercus2651/sandbox}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, and click "Save page". An administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. TKK! bark with me! 19:44, 19 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
