san antonio[edit]

I do have to agree with you that San Antonio is not as southern as Houston, but you're opinion that it's not a real southern city was obviously based on the fact that you weren't on the right part. The area I lived in, which was predominantly black, was very sweet southern and country. Sprinkled with greasy fried chicken spots and a few southern cuisine shops. Plus, technically, according to the AAA, San Antonio is eastern Texas. The heavy population of Mexican-Americans tends to illude people from that fact.

U.S. state navigation[edit]

Hi, RJN. Can you please point me to the consensus for your revert on the U.S. state navigation box? Please reply here and I'll check back. Thanks very much. (It is a tough call but I count 2 votes against and 1 vote for show/hide). -Susanlesch 00:48, 6 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex[edit]

I'm not sure I agree with the having of multiple population figures in the intro. There's a 2000 census and a 2006 estimate, but the intro later says it's the 4th-largest metro area, which is a statement only true under the 2006 estimate. I'd prefer just to put the 2006 estimate in the intro.--Loodog 19:49, 7 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, fixed. —RJN 19:52, 7 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
