Page blanking[edit]

Hi RWJP!

Regarding your summary "Undid revision 332829854 by Youngwinston (talk) Blanking the page isn't going to help. Please leave the page complete", blanking the page is considered a request from the author of the page to delete it. If you come across this in the future, instead of reverting, simply place the {{db-blanked}} template on the page. Regards, decltype (talk) 13:04, 20 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion declined: Heo Yeong-man[edit]

Hello RWJP, and thanks for your work patrolling new changes. I am just informing you that I declined the speedy deletion of Heo Yeong-man - a page you tagged - because: The article linked does rather imply he's quite important, from the patchy translation I've used; enough for A7. Take to AfD (PROD would be contested judging by talk page discussion). If you have any questions or problems, please let me know. GedUK  17:24, 24 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

SA80[edit]

I'm a little confused by your edit summary. Why should the heading be 'L85 Rifle' when the entire section solely talks about the improved A2 model? Hayden120 (talk) 14:01, 23 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, i'm aware the section only talks about the L85A2, however, the rest of the information is covered in other parts of the article. Within the variants list, each of the weapon variants are described by their basic designation (Eg: L86 and L22) and then by the weapon type (Eg: LSW and Carbine). It makes sense then that the name of the section regarding the rifle variant of the L85 series should be "L85 Rifle" when the other sections follow that same pattern. Reading through it though, the section in question isn't quite as clear as it should be, and should, discuss the rifle variant as a whole, not the A2 variant specifically.
To simplify, I don't see why changing it to L85A2 is necessary when it doesn't fit with the way the rest of the Variant Headers are written. RWJP (talk) 22:25, 23 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The deletion of the flags at the AR-15 article[edit]

RWJP If you have a chance go back to User talk:ROG5728 and read the comments after yours. The person is playing a very old game on WP that has caused a lot of hurt feelings and drove off some good editors. But technically he is right. Also, you will discover something: By his standards there are no armies using the AR-15. So no matter the citation you give (ie with the exception of the US Army Special Ops and USAF Air Commandos) no nation ever used the AR-15) by the letter -- ie not the spirit -- of proof he is right. Finally, you tried to handle it well. But you wasted your time, like I did, till I figured it out. JACK--Jackehammond (talk) 05:19, 8 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Wikiproject Airsoft[edit]

Hello! I'm trying to revive this wikiproject by contacting a bunch of the participants that seem at least a little active. One of the beginning priorities was to increase the status of Airsoft or Airsoft gun to a featured article. It would be great to do this as airsoft is something becoming more prominent. The only real problem with the Airsoft article is the fact that it cites practically no sources... . If you're interested you can get me on my talk page or right here. Thanks, -- TheFSAviatorT 01:45, 9 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Airsoft Guns[edit]

Hey, I was wondering if you still wanted to revise the Airsoft Guns page? I could do it, but I require other's opinons on how to do it.Halofanatic333 (talk) 12:39, 12 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Do you mean the category? Could you specify exactly what page? TheFSAviator ( TC ) 18:51, 12 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
? Got to the talk page, RWJP and I were talking about it a while ago. A whole lot of wrong is on that page. Halofanatic333 (talk) 01:57, 13 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
