July 2017[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Utcursch. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Ravana Rajputs, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Also, please do not remove sourced content. If you want to write about Anandpal Singh, please create a separate article on that topic. utcursch | talk 19:03, 21 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please take some time to read WP:RS, if you haven't already. Caste websites like rawnarajput.com and non-notable books such as Mardum shumari Raj Marwar Report are not acceptable sources.
Moreover, the content should be directly relevant to the article and supported by the references. None of the references added by you state that Major Dalpat Singh was a Ravana Rajput. If you add the content with a reference that explicitly supports this assertion, nobody will have a problem with your additions.
The article Ravana Rajputs not about a specific person: there is a separate article on Anandpal Singh. If you have more than a sentence to add on that topic, please do so it at Anandpal Singh, not at Ravana Rajputs.
Also, have a look at WP:NPOV: Wikipedia is not a platform to glorify your caste. Content like "Ravana Rajputs were brave and always took stand for the right cause. Ravana Rajput is a caste based on high personal values such as loyalty, integrity, respect, selfless service and honor." is not welcome here.
Finally, please stop removing sourced content from the article. It is not the personal opinion of any Wikipedian - it is supported by reliable sources.
Have a look at WP:BRD -- when others oppose your changes, you need to discuss them on the talk page of the article. You will end up getting blocked from Wikipedia, if you continue to re-insert your problematic changes. utcursch | talk 21:27, 21 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
