Pasi,Hinduism moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Pasi,Hinduism, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Maharaja bijli pasi[edit]

I have moved this article back into your userspace. It is not even close to being ready for mainspace. Please do not restore it to mainspace without putting it through articles for creation. ♠PMC(talk) 23:18, 1 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. --TheImaCow (talkcontribs) 08:53, 11 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The Wikipedia community has permitted administrators to impose discretionary sanctions on any editor who is active on any page about social groups, explicitly including caste associations and political parties, related to India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal. Discretionary sanctions can be used against an editor who repeatedly or seriously fails to adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, any expected standards of behavior, or any normal editorial process. If you engage in inappropriate behavior in this area, you may be placed under sanctions, which can include blocks, a revert limitation, or a topic ban. The discussion leading to the imposition of these sanctions can be read here.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Pasi (Hindu Caste). First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Pasi (caste). Because of the duplication, your article has been speedily deleted. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Pasi (caste). If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.

Please do not recreate the material without addressing these concerns, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you think the article you created should have remained separate, or you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Primefac (talk) 01:26, 13 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Disruption[edit]

Why you haven't been blocked yet for disruptive editing is something I do not understand but you have just done it again at Pasi (caste). I wonder if Primefac has seen it? - Sitush (talk) 11:04, 13 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Topic ban[edit]

Per the General sanctions on South Asian social groups, and following continuing disruptive edits, I am topic-banning you from Pasi (caste); this includes creating duplicate articles about the group, but does not prevent you from writing articles about individuals. You are welcome to request improvements be made to the article by posting on the talk page. Continued disruption will result in sanctions. Primefac (talk) 14:09, 13 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Primefac - do they even know this page exists? See these edits. - Sitush (talk) 03:34, 14 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I'll leave action to Primefac who, I hope, will know what to do about the move of User:Ranjit pasi to Lakhan Pasi. I suppose that's not a technical problem? Johnuniq (talk) 04:57, 14 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Have to sleep at some point. As far as the move goes, I did not prevent them from creating articles about individuals, but I'm seriously considering extending the tban to include that. Primefac (talk) 10:20, 14 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
To enforce community-authorised general sanctions, as described at Wikipedia:General sanctions/South Asian social groups,
you have been blocked from editing for 1 week. You are welcome to make useful contributions once the block expires; however, please note that the repetition of similar behavior may result in a longer block. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Primefac (talk) 10:20, 14 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Reminder to administrators: Community sanctions are enacted by community consensus. In order to overturn this block, you must either receive the approval of the blocking administrator or consensus at a community noticeboard (you may need to copy and paste their statement to a community noticeboard).

I've now extended the blocks to two weeks, and blocked your alternate account indefinitely. Primefac (talk) 15:08, 19 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Primefac: can we perhaps give up on this contributor? This latest effort is a breach of their topic ban. - Sitush (talk) 15:43, 2 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Yes. Due to their unwillingness to discuss the issue, and repeated topic ban violations, I have indeffed them. Primefac (talk) 15:51, 2 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Bijli Pasi, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.  Ganbaruby! (Say hi!) 14:23, 11 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked for sockpuppetry[edit]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abusing multiple accounts per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Ranjit pasi. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 04:23, 16 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! UnitedStatesian (talk) 22:02, 1 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
