Why did you undo my changes? I worked very hard to add information about what happened at the rally.

Mother of All Rallies[edit]

Hello. I reverted your changes to Mother of All Rallies for two reasons:

The first is that Wikipedia articles should be written in a neutral, formal tone (per WP:TONE). Saying this was "One of the most distinctive moments", for example, is a form of editorializing. This is a subjective claim about the moment, and it would need attribution saying who was describing it as distinctive. This would also have to be supported by a reliable source (WP:RS).

The other reason is that you removed content that had sources without any explanation. The information about the pledge of allegiance and the lack of politicians present was removed. If you do not think this belongs, you should explain why. Starting a new section at the article's talk page (Talk:Mother of All Rallies) would be the best place to discuss this issue.

I hope this answers your questions. Thanks. Grayfell (talk) 01:40, 8 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Mother of All Rallies, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia without adequate explanation, as you did at Mother of All Rallies, you may be blocked from editing. A reliably sourced comparison between two rallies happening in the same city on the same day is relevant to the article. Doug Weller talk 15:03, 14 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
