Your contributed article, Himachel Pardesh[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Himachel Pardesh. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Himachal Pradesh. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Himachal Pradesh – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions.  GILO   A&E  12:14, 5 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

January 2017[edit]

Hello, I'm David.moreno72. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Sindhi Rajput, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. David.moreno72 14:02, 6 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Barsar, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Hannibal Smith ❯❯❯ 14:13, 6 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The Wikipedia community has permitted administrators to impose discretionary sanctions on any editor who is active on any page about social groups, explicitly including caste associations and political parties, related to India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal. Discretionary sanctions can be used against an editor who repeatedly or seriously fails to adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, any expected standards of behavior, or any normal editorial process. If you engage in further inappropriate behavior in this area, you may be placed under sanctions, which can include blocks, a revert limitation, or a topic ban. The discussion leading to the imposition of these sanctions can be read here.

Please familiarise yourself with the information page at Wikipedia:General sanctions/South Asian social groups.

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Rajput clans, you may be blocked from editing. Failure to cite a reliable source. Please base edits on reliable sources. Per WP:CITE, WP:RS, WP:VER. Hannibal Smith ❯❯❯ 13:00, 7 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Rajput Barsar[edit]

The article Rajput Barsar has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No sources. Obvious conflict of interest. Fails general notability guidelines, going by the Google results.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. utcursch | talk 23:49, 11 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

January 2017[edit]

February 2017[edit]

To enforce an arbitration decision you have been blocked temporarily from editing. You are welcome to edit once the block expires; however, please note that the repetition of similar behavior may result in a longer block or other sanctions.

If you believe this block is unjustified, please read the guide to appealing blocks (specifically this section) before appealing. Place the following on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Please copy my appeal to the [[WP:AE|arbitration enforcement noticeboard]] or [[WP:AN|administrators' noticeboard]]. Your reason here OR place the reason below this template. ~~~~}}. If you intend to appeal on the arbitration enforcement noticeboard I suggest you use the arbitration enforcement appeals template on your talk page so it can be copied over easily. You may also appeal directly to me (by email), before or instead of appealing on your talk page. regentspark (comment) 15:24, 25 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Reminder to administrators: In May 2014, ArbCom adopted the following procedure instructing administrators regarding Arbitration Enforcement blocks: "No administrator may modify a sanction placed by another administrator without: (1) the explicit prior affirmative consent of the enforcing administrator; or (2) prior affirmative agreement for the modification at (a) AE or (b) AN or (c) ARCA (see "Important notes" [in the procedure]). Administrators modifying sanctions out of process may at the discretion of the committee be desysopped."

Hi. You were warned before not to add unsourced information on South Asian castes, a group of articles that are subject to arbitration sanctions (see the notice halfway above on this page). Regardless, you added the same information again. Do note that, if you continue to do so, the length of your blocks will increase, culminating in an indefinite block and ban from Wikipedia. Best. --regentspark (comment) 15:28, 25 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Warning on persistent disruptive editing[edit]

  • Over the last few months a number of accounts have all been editing about Rajput Barsars, and there have also been some similar edits made without logging into any account. It is totally clear that the accounts are operated either by the same person or, perhaps more likely, by a number of people acting together. The editing has been unhelpful, in various ways. There have been repeated edits designed to promote Rajput Barsars, there have been doubtful edits made without any sources to support them, there have been edits the meaning of which is unclear, messages from other editors expressing concerns have been ignored. At least one article has been re-created several times even though a community discussion concluded that is was unsuitable; the title of the article was slightly changed after the article had been deleted twice. At least one of the accounts involved has been blocked from editing for a while.
  • You are welcome to make constructive contributions, in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, an in collaboration with other editors. However, if there is a continuation of editing in ways that you have been told are unsuitable, then all of the accounts and any IP addresses used may be blocked indefinitely.
