HI, can you add a sentence that says what is or does now? There is not sufficient context. Thanks, Cheers, :) Dlohcierekim 21:10, 25 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Spamming/copyright violations[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions to the Press for Peace article, but for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

Feel free to re-submit a new version of the article. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I irrevocably release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later, for use on Wikipedia and elsewhere."

You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here. You can also leave a message on my talk page. - Lucky 6.9 00:42, 26 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

PLEASE do not add copyrighted material or "spam" links to this site. Once more will lead to an immediate loss of your edit privileges without further warning. Thank you. - Lucky 6.9 00:44, 26 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image:100 0204.JPG listed for deletion[edit]

An image or media file that you uploaded or altered, Image:100 0204.JPG, has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. Please look there to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. — Nv8200p talk 05:28, 31 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The reason I nominated the image for deletion was that the image was not used anywhere and orphan images are not kept on Wikipedia. You added the image to the article Sudhun, so the image can stay as far as I am concerned. -Nv8200p talk 12:37, 5 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Press for Peace article nominated for deletion[edit]

Hi. I've listed this article for a debate about deletion because it seems that the organisation doesn't meet the expected standard of WP:ORG. Please try to improve the article if you can add independent sources that show other people think it is notable, or join the debate. Good luck! --Mereda 13:10, 10 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

NowCommons: File:100 0098.JPG[edit]

File:100 0098.JPG is now available on Wikimedia Commons as Commons:File:Rawalakot (Azad Kashmir).jpg. This is a repository of free media that can be used on all Wikimedia wikis. The image will be deleted from Wikipedia, but this doesn't mean it can't be used anymore. You can embed an image uploaded to Commons like you would an image uploaded to Wikipedia, in this case: [[File:Rawalakot (Azad Kashmir).jpg]]. Note that this is an automated message to inform you about the move. This bot did not copy the image itself. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 20:24, 5 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article Tassadaq Hussain Khan has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

A search for references found only a couple minor published (gBooks) references fails WP:V and WP:N

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Jeepday (talk) 20:28, 3 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Rawalakot in spring.JPG[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Rawalakot in spring.JPG. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- ТимофейЛееСуда. 21:34, 25 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Notification of automated file description generation[edit]

Your upload of File:Ahmadfinal.JPG or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. In order to help make better use of the media, an attempt has been made by an automated process to identify and add certain information to the media's description page.

This notification is placed on your talk page because a bot has identified you either as the uploader of the file, or as a contributor to its metadata. It would be appreciated if you could carefully review the information the bot added. To opt out of these notifications, please follow the instructions here. Thanks!
