A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Panda (Ailuropoda melanoleuca and Ailurus fulgens) is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Panda (Ailuropoda melanoleuca and Ailurus fulgens) until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article until the discussion has finished.

@Rcosham, Take the time to read the message above. ^^^ The article you created on Pandas was nominated for deletion. This is because most of the content duplicates information that is already present in the Red panda and Giant panda article. If you find some of the content is not in those articles then you need to make improvements to the existing Wikipedia article, instead of creating a duplicate article. If you need a refresher on how to do this, please review this training module or this video. Looping in @THgnbm. Brianda (Wiki Ed) (talk) 17:04, 22 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
