ESSEC bias[edit]

Giant Otter picture[edit]

Hi there Rdavout. Hey cheers for replacing that picture of the giant otter.. what was there before was a very poor photo and what you have substituted in its place is much clearer and generally more satisfactory- the article looks much better. Keep up the good work!

Your edit to swimming pool[edit]

The vandalism to the swimming pool article was pretty bad. However when you replaced "poo" with "pool" throughout the article, it caused some errors like changing "poor" to "poolr" and broke some of the capitalisation. Don't worry about that - I've fixed the errors. However, in the future when you see vandalism like that, look in the page history so you can find a version to revert to (i.e. change to a previous version of the page). HCMC Maps[edit]

I appreciate the maps you've made for the districts of Ho Chi Minh City. Is it too much trouble to create maps for the districts of Hanoi and eventually for every province of Vietnam? Thanks. DHN (talk) 16:46, 23 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:Essec logo.png)[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Essec logo.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:25, 15 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

Hello Rdavout! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 2 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 941 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

  1. Gilles Pélisson - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
  2. Michel Bon - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Thanks!--DASHBot (talk) 00:26, 9 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Rdavout, just a question : you added a "controversies" section in this article. I put a [citation needed]. Can you just find some sources for these sentences. Thanks. Tofoot (talk) 15:10, 30 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Irony?[edit]

When you made this revert [1] with the edit summary reverting is not a way to reach NPOV... were you being deliberately ironic? William M. Connolley (talk) 16:52, 3 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Lao word spaces[edit]

Hi, I'm a linguist working on a thesis about spacing and word breaks in languages of mainland Southeast Asia. It seems that you added a phrase to the "Punctuation" section of the Lao language page back in 2009, saying, "Lao is traditionally not written with spaces between words, although signs of change are multiplying." Could you please let me know what your source on these changes is, if you read it somewhere or if you learned it from personal observation? I'd love to hear about examples of changes in Lao writing styles relating to spaces (both external references and your own observations).

Thanks a lot,

Sethton (talk) 09:29, 18 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
