review[edit]

I may have time to look quickly at it tomorrow. TONY (talk) 16:17, 17 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sure, thankyou very much. If your too busy dont worry. Regards. — Realist2 (Come Speak To Me) 18:50, 17 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

List of best-selling albums worldwide[edit]

The wall has sold over 23 million copies in the US, so why isn't it on the list, sold 125 million copies in Brazil, in germany it has been certified 7x gold and 4x platinum that's over 6 million copies. So we isn't the wall listed it has sold over 30 million copies in only three countries. If found this out from the different certification sites. see [1]. --Black On High (talk) 18:47, 18 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It hasnt sold 23 million copies in the US. Its been certified for 23 million, however its a double disk album so sales are only 11.5 million. You need a single, reliable source that says the album has sold at least 20 million copies worldwide. Hope that helps. — Realist2 (Come Speak To Me) 18:55, 18 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yes but still if this is true what your saying it has sold over 15 million copies only in the US, Brazil and Germany alone. --Black On High (talk) 19:00, 18 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
OK, lets keep this discussion to the articles talk page so that we dont repeat ourselves.— Realist2 (Come Speak To Me) 19:01, 18 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Madonna, again[edit]

No its not. You had a great input on taking the article back to its stature...although, like me, demands and suggest exceeding what should be a GA article. --Efe (talk) 01:13, 19 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanx for your support Efe, im quite drained at the moment to tell you the truth. — Realist2 (Come Speak To Me) 01:20, 19 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hey boy. You've been here over a year; I think you need some rest? --Efe (talk) 01:22, 19 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I think I need to just stick to my own stuff, Ive been getting involved with too much (half of which doesn't interest me). I was going to put Thriller up for FA soon, but I dont think I've got the strengh or energy for it. — Realist2 (Come Speak To Me) 01:31, 19 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
"I think I need to just stick to my own stuff" Hmm... Its up to you. If that makes you happy. But its rather good being involved in different projects/stuffs. Good luck with Thriller. PR is watchlisted as well as the page. Hopefully, the FAC page. =) --Efe (talk) 01:35, 19 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Cheers, I just need to rebuild my confidence, ive been through too many battles recently. I havent got any articles to GA or FA in what seems like ages. — Realist2 (Come Speak To Me) 01:39, 19 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Good luck. --Efe (talk) 01:40, 19 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Jackson[edit]

Would you mind lending me your thoughts on the state of the MJ article. Im probably going to nominate it for FA soon-ish, it will without question cause a minor storm in a teacup again. — Realist2 (Come Speak To Me) 04:52, 19 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A lot of things are unnecessary detail, for example Thriller 25 doesn't even warrant a mention in my book. Also, I don't his charitable work should be in the lead. I don't believe his charitable work has received as much coverage as, say, his pop career or his paedophilia/general weirdness to deserve being in the lead. The prose isn't fantastic; maybe you should enlist MJ and Thriller as projects for the FA-Team? indopug (talk) 16:55, 19 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Oh I agree, his charity work hasnt received enough mention in the media...... However it is still a huge part of his personal achievement. Besides if you took it out the lead it would imply that there are NO good aspects to his personal life, which is not neutral or remotely accurate. Infact from what I know of his fans at least, its because of his charity work that he has any fans that are willing to stick around. Thriller 25 is notable, selling 3 million copies of a reissue in 12 weeks when the pop industry is crumbling is an achievement. Also remember, at the moment he doesn't have a record deal, many people have said that he woundn't be able to get one after his trial. The success of T25 has just ended that speculation. — Realist2 (Come Speak To Me) 17:14, 19 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm just going to post here, if you don't mind. I haven't been doing much actually on Wikipedia (I'm busier than I was in Europe), but I wouldn't mind helping w/ MJ if you want. Cheers, Kodster (heLLo) (Me did that) 17:56, 19 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sure, copy editing would be a really help, source formatting etc etc. Just remember, I dont put commas with "and" together. :-) — Realist2 (Come Speak To Me) 17:59, 19 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Gotcha. I copyedited the lead (sorry I'm so late, I didn't realized you commented back here) and am about to start the bio section. It might take a while, but I'm on vacation so I'll have more time. When I'm done with the bio, I'll let you know. Cheers, Kodster (heLLo) (Me did that) 14:49, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I did three of the sections in "Biography", but I have to go now. I'll get right to it when I come back. Cheers, Kodster (heLLo) (Me did that) 15:23, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Done with "Biography". I'll work on the rest when I get a chance. Cheers, Kodster (heLLo) (Me did that) 16:46, 21 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
LOL, "Who's Bad"! I'm gonna work on Sgt. Pepper right now, so I'll still be here if you need me. Cheers, Kodster (heLLo) (Me did that) 16:50, 21 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Do you still need that copyedit? Sorry, i've been busy with Sgt. Pepper, and then there's the real world. Oh well, if you want me to finish my CE, give me a call (on my talk page, not my phone). ;0 I see that you've been working extensively on MJ as well. I wish I could say the same about The Beatles. Cheers, Kodster (heLLo) (Me did that) 15:14, 23 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Done It's good for a PR if you like. Cheers, Kodster (heLLo) (Me did that) 19:36, 23 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thankyou, ill go through it once myself, its been a LONG time since a read the article in its entirety, then ill put it up for PR. Merci as they say in France. — Realist2 (Who's Bad?) 19:42, 23 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
De rien. Bonne chance avec l'article ;). Cheers, Kodster (heLLo) (Me did that) 17:11, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hehe, Kodster you make me laugh. — Realist2 (Who's Bad?) 17:15, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I saw your edits here. Please provide edit summaries excluding the default edit summary (which appears when you're editing on a section). Cheers. --Efe (talk) 06:42, 23 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No-one had a problem with it as Im the only one working on the article, besides you only need edit summaries if you want to get through an RfA. LOL I dont. — Realist2 (Who's Bad?) 16:49, 23 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. I've just reviewed your GAN, and have placed it on hold with comments. It will be on hold for a week (or less). Thanks, Keilana|Parlez ici 18:51, 19 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sure, no prob. Cheers, Kodster (heLLo) (Me did that) 22:39, 19 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, I'm done. Good luck! Cheers, Kodster (heLLo) (Me did that) 23:10, 19 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Cheeeeerrrrrrrrrrsssssssss. :-) — Realist2 (Come Speak To Me) 23:16, 19 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Congratulations, I've just passed the article. Excellent work. :) Keilana|Parlez ici 05:16, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thankyou, you did a great review, great advise. Yay, my first GA in what feels like ages. :-) — Realist2 (Come Speak To Me) 05:18, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Congrats. Hopefully, MJ is next in line. :) Cheers, Kodster (heLLo) (Me did that) 14:50, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Lisa Marie Presley[edit]

Re your message: I see that you already reverted the addition of the images without proper licenses and the other edits, so I'm not sure what else I can do to assist. You might want to leave a note on the new editor's talk page. It's likely that he is just not familiar with the rules and style guidelines of Wikipedia. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 04:37, 21 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi instead of removing the quote as is, why not quote the portion you deem: puts it in context.66.108.106.248 (talk) 20:45, 22 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Please stop removing sourced material-let us discuss- You can re-quote in the article but just removing is not helpful.66.108.106.248 (talk) 21:01, 22 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re your message: Sorry about the delay getting back to you. I think you did an excellent job of rewriting that section. Nice work! -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 21:32, 23 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thankyou, its nice to hear people say nice things now and again, cheers. Hopefully that IP wont revert my efforts. Could I ask that you put the article on your watchlist, I cant moniter it alone, specially since I dont own a block switch lol :-). — Realist2 (Who's Bad?) 21:35, 23 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re your message: I left a message for the IP inviting her/him to discuss the issue on the Talk page. If they accept the invitation (I hope they do), try to listen to their concerns and work out the issue. If you get stuck, try getting a third opinion. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 21:12, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re your message: Please do try. Edit warring over it won't make the article any better. I know that it can be frustrating, but I recommend trying to have a discussion about it. Let bygones be bygones and try to start anew on the talk page. Perhaps the two of you can come to an agreement on the topic. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 06:28, 26 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Just had a quick look over this, I don't see a great problem although his style is a little unusual. He's not edit-warring or pushing a POV, so I'd just be patient and revert his edits if they are unsupported or don't make sense. WP:AGF, as they say. If he really starts getting out of line, let me know. Cheers. --Rodhullandemu 23:44, 21 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

CadenS[edit]

Yeah, it's really too bad. I'm a little pissed at Cuddlyable3 for reopening old wounds. I have a feeling that if Cuddlyable hadn't done that, CadenS would have just moved on... but as it is, now we've got CadenS railing about a "leftist liberal agenda" trying to "silence" him, and how he's a "survivor of PC" and such. I abhor those comments, but at the same time I can't help but feel that he was baited into them somewhat.

I am hoping the whole thing will just blow over :( --Jaysweet (talk) 20:57, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Oh well, ill go and drink my latte now. — Realist2 (Who's Bad?) 20:59, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re Conservapedia[edit]

I'm definitely interested in helping the article reach GA status. I've gotten away from editing the article beyond undoing poorly sourced additions/violations of original research, so I'd like to get back into it. I agree with you regarding the whole aversion due to content. Wisdom89 (T / C) 02:16, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Tomorrow sounds good, probably after work. Busy at the lab all day! I'll give it a once over myself, either tonight or tomorrow afternoon. As far as major contributors, I don't know them offhand, but we've already started a thread on the discussion page and an editor or two opined that they would not be averse to making changes in accordance with GA criteria. Doesn't seem like the article is too far off. Wisdom89 (T / C) 02:33, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Over[edit]

Malleus and I talked it over. Disagreement resolved. I conceded. I struck out most of my cmts. He won.:( You're psychic lol.:D I don't care that I lost by the way.:D--Xp54321 (Hello!Contribs) 02:46, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Im glad, i was worried about you back there Xp. — Realist2 (Who's Bad?) 02:49, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
SO... did I lose????;)And why were you so worried?--Xp54321 (Hello!Contribs) 02:49, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
No, you won, you let it go, proving your maturity, its just like Beat It, "you dont need to die to prove your a man" as MJ says. I was worried because your taking on the big guns, I dont mind doing it but I never want to be an Admin, you do. Besides Malleus is a machine with words, he could make mince meat out of anyone. — Realist2 (Who's Bad?) 02:54, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
While my ego took quite a bruise from "mince meat":(.I WON?!!?. Great I just told everybody I LOST!!!Oh well... And true I do eventually wan to be an admin. But that's several months off.(Delayed even further by this "incident",or sped up if it did prove my maturity):D.Oh irony...--Xp54321 (Hello!Contribs) 02:58, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
To Realist: your comment about me being "a machine with words" had me laughing out loud. I'd never really thought of it like that, but you may have a point. :-) To Xp: if you went to RfA now I would not oppose you because of this incident. Largely because it would look like I was harbouring a grudge against you, which I don't. Enjoy your editing, do whatever it is that you're best at, and in time, if that's what you want, someone will recognise the good job you're doing and offer to nominate you. Don't sweat it, you've got plenty of time. ;-) --Malleus Fatuorum (talk) 14:48, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Glad to know that everything's sorted out. (I opposed Ryan, but not for his age.) And Xp, whether you "won" or "lost", you proved your maturity by ending something that could only harbor disaster. Definitely a big + in my eyes, I'll keep it in mind during an RfA. ;0 Cheers, Kodster (heLLo) (Me did that) 15:05, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A Belief in God and the Monarchy[edit]

So I am about to be "monitored" for asserting my DEMOCRATIC right in declaring my personal beliefs on MY User Page. What's this, a left-wing witch hunt against the far-right- By the way, I was talking about the European far-right, seeing as I live in Italy, which is (Thank GOD!) back in the right hands now. I have the right to detest the PC mentality, which is rearing it's hideously ugly head right at this moment and breathing it's foul, rancid , stifling breath into my face and trying to strangle all individuality and freedom of thought. Who made you a captain of the jack-boot stomping PC police, eh ? I have read your User page and I note that you refer to the American flag as "ugly". Did you ever serve in your country's Armed Forces? I thought not; instead you sit and sneer at those who proudly serve under the flag that they were born under, fight and, perhaps die painful deaths for the democracy that gives me (and you) the right to FREEDOM OF SPEECH-a right that you would deny me-and others, so you can transform the world into a liberal "paradise" populated by faceless, voiceless masses of slaves which you call "workers". Go ahead then MONITOR ME!!!jeanne (talk) 06:12, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Firstly it was you, not me, that accepted, kept and said thankyou to an editor who gave you a barnstar for "racial purity". You accepted and loved the disgusting barnstar. Luckily it was removed from you as it was terribly racist and bigoted. Secondly I am not talking about the US flag, Im not american, I like my country, but Im also capable of independant thought. Thirdly, be civil, I know its hard but do try. Im going back to drinking my latte, like all good liberals do. Adios. — Realist2 (Who's Bad?) 06:19, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Realist, I was not attacking you, au contraire, I was defending myself. The Celtic cross has been removed from my talk page , so can we just get on with our respective lives now. Ok? I wish to go drink a nice cup of green tea and eat an Italian pastry. It's ten o'clock in the morning here in Italy and I'm famished.jeanne (talk) 07:57, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Where I come from this is a personal attack; I have the right to detest the PC mentality, which is rearing it's hideously ugly head right at this moment and breathing it's foul, rancid , stifling breath into my face and trying to strangle all individuality and freedom of thought.Realist2 (Who's Bad?) 08:02, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Realist, I was talking about The PC mentality not you personally. I don't know you nor do I know where you come from. I WAS NOT ATTACKING YOU PERSONALLY. VA BENE ? OK? ahhhh....... Now can I please go eat or I will not have the energy to respond to the next editor who misunderstands my comments.jeanne (talk) 08:12, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Sure, lets move on but your barnstar cannot be reinstated. — Realist2 (Who's Bad?) 08:14, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
No problem.jeanne (talk) 08:32, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

bsrboy[edit]

Well, well, well my mouth hit the floor when I just saw you editing again. I was going to rush to WP:AN to report this as sock but it seems from your talk page that the community actually wants you back. After getting two blocks because of your racism towards me, afer calling me a nigger, a black bastard and asking for me to be lynched, its safe to say that I dont like you. I was very hurt that you pretended to be my friend on one account while abusing me with another. It was a very hurtful experience and I actually cried over it. It still affects me now, it has caused me a lot of embarrasement and pain, I haven't been myself on wikipedia since it occured. I nearly left the project because of your actions, I still dont even know why you did it or what I did to you? Still I have learnt a lot from that experience and I am somewhat stronger. As editors we are going to bump into eachother at times, I will not hassle you so long as you treat me like other editors, regardless of my skin colour. I hope one day you will understand what you did was not only wrong but .... cruel. — Realist2 (Who's Bad?) 20:49, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm back and I won't bother you. It wasn't personal and by the way when I said "I shall have you hung" I was refering to the admin reviewing my block, not you. Sorry for my troubles, bsrboy (talk) 21:04, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Cheers, im glad to know calling me a nigger and a black bastard wasn't personal either. I hope you enjoy your freedom. — Realist2 (Who's Bad?) 21:10, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I then discover that a month after your block you add a SWATSTICA to your talk page seen here. — Realist2 (Who's Bad?) 04:06, 26 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your de facto adoptee[edit]

I assume you've seen the trainwreck he's walking into on his talkpage. I've warned him as best I can just how spectacularly he's going wrong here, with no apparent effect, but he might listen to it from you. He's now managed to get himself into a multi-way flamewar with the people who effectively run the site; there won't be anything Metros or I can do if the disruption-blocks start, even if I had the energy to carry on banging my head against this particular wall. – iridescent 23:15, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

ALL editors are EQUAL!!!--Xp54321 (Hello!Contribs) 23:17, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hey Realist2. Just got the news. What can we do? We did all we could; if he feels that Wikipedia isn't the right place for him, then who are we to stop him? I read your comment you posted on his talk page before (this one), and I stand by it. I just don't think that Wikipedia could have done him much good; he's got a lot of work in school (and Wikipedia should in no way get in the way of education), he's having a hard time in Wikipedia, and he's relatively new here (I shouldn't say that, though, I've been here for basically the same time he has). But I really think that a future in Wikipedia for him wouldn't turn out for the best. I just wish that we could have done something to help him understand that sometimes you have to live with racism, ageism, etc., and that you can't always fight it (even though it may seem like a noble cause). He was a smart kid, and he could have been a great contributor. If I say anymore, I'm going to start rambling, so I'll leave it at that. I'm really sorry that I wasn't there. Cheers, Kodster (heLLo) (Me did that) 14:58, 26 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The Merges[edit]

I should have mentioned it before I logged off for the night:

  • {{Mergefrom-multiple|SOURCEPAGEONE|SOURCEPAGETWO|SOURCEPAGETHREE|discuss={{TALKPAGENAME}}#Merger proposal|{{subst:DATE}}}}
  • {{merge-multiple | Otherpage1 | Otherpage2 | Otherpage3 | discuss=Talk:Otherpage2#Merge-discussion-sectiontitle }}
Those are the two you could use. — MaggotSyn 13:17, 26 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Oh thank you for the advice. I'll do it when I get back from my holiday. Cheers and thanks again. Best wishes.jeanne (talk) 18:55, 26 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A Day in the Life[edit]

I took it off my watchlist after it got cluttered. But I guess I'll put it back now. When you told me about your "people who hate me" page, I thought Malleus Fatuorum (I'm assuming it's Latin...) would fill the entire section. Oh well, one should do nicely. ;-) Luckily, I haven't been here long enough to have such a section. In time... Cheers, Kodster (heLLo) (Me did that) 14:53, 27 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I don't hate anyone, and certainly not Realist2. --Malleus Fatuorum (talk) 20:05, 27 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
We (or maybe just I) know you don't hate Realist2, but you do act in a way that's less than complimentary to him. Besides, the section is to be taken lightly (I'm assuming). Cheers, Kodster (heLLo) (Me did that) 20:27, 27 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
If Im ever feeling low I just look at that list, it reminds me why its still worthwhile being here. — Realist2 (Who's Bad?) 20:30, 27 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
(reply to Kodster). Perhaps, but I make no effort to single him out. I'm "less than complimentary" to lots of people, as they are to me. That's life. --Malleus Fatuorum (talk) 21:19, 27 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
So your argument is that it's okay to be "mean" (to any degree, "less than complimentary" included) to Realist2 because your "mean" (any degree as stated previously) to everyone else? If that's the case, then, here's something you may need. Cheers, Kodster (heLLo) (Me did that) 21:42, 27 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Kod, its ok, you don't need to stand up for me, I don't want us exposed as socks remember *wink wink*. The section on my user page is just a laugh, I thought the comments were well written, witty, funny so I included them for people to chuckle over. Fucking hell people I could write a full list of all the hateful comments I have received, be it "Nigger" or "Black Bastard" amongst many others. These ones though are so funny that I don't really take offence to them, I see them as artistic statements. Malleus has his ways and I understand that my oppose at his RfA was a little blunt/harsh. Its one of the reasons I dont take part in that process anymore, it just leads to a pack mentality whereby anyone can say anything about anyone. I'm just trying to do my best with the knowledge and expertise I have. I considered leaving and going over to the Spanish wiki just so that my embarrassing bad spelling would be behind me. However I would I want to go there where no one could read my work. Its got so bad that I even put this paragraph through a spell checker! — Realist2 (Who's Bad?) 21:59, 27 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Ugh! That made me feel sick! --Malleus Fatuorum (talk) 14:57, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hehe. — Realist2 (Who's Bad?) 16:45, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I know you still have the heart to becoming an admin. As you said, its a bloody process. So, before you are lambasted in that area because of some reasons, try to eliminate them one by one. I dropped a message before but I think you did not reply. You have no/low edit summaries. Some RfAs failed because of that. So better watch out. Good luck boy. --Efe (talk) 08:28, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I did respond further up my talk page, at the bottom of the Jackson thread. Ill add that edit summary thing to my preferences. — Realist2 (Who's Bad?) 08:31, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, it really does force you to put an edit summary in (unless you want to have to click the "Save Page" button, wait for the page to reload, then click it again). Also, I added my name to the list of supporters. I'm pretty sure that was supposed to be tongue-in-cheek, but who cares? :) BTW, I am SO using that popcorn-eating smiley on MY page. :33333 Cheers, Kodster (heLLo) (Me did that) 14:43, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Done ;) Check out my user page now. :-) Cheers, Kodster (heLLo) (Me did that) 14:47, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Haha that made me laugh, no I'm serious, if I ever have enough support I would consider running, when Michael Jackson gets to FA my article building days will take second place to other wiki tasks. — Realist2 (Who's Bad?) 16:51, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I'll support you 100% (though it would be rather ill-timed, IMO, what with Xp54321 and Iridescent, and all the other things that have happened. While I know they only show how you can deal with extremely tough and difficult situations, others may prey on it and paint you as an aggresive editor. Well, that's my two cents, but be bold and go for it. Heaven knows I won't. ;) Cheers, Kodster (heLLo) (Me did that) 16:02, 30 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Everyone knows I have a hormone imbalance. I'm taking tablets for it lol. — Realist2 (Who's Bad?) 16:29, 30 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Kurt[edit]

Absolutely no. And whether he is respected or not, he should respect other users as well. I'm not mad at any but I'm trying to inject "lessons". He might be correct, because self-nominations are really fishy. But he must be objective. What if you'll run an RfA and my comment is: "A very very very stong OPPOSE This user is always changing his mind whether he's gonna run for an adminship or not. Duh." Now, what is your say? --Efe (talk) 09:07, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You have a point Efe, its quite funny seeing you ruffled like this, it shows you have strong principles though. I like it. :-) — Realist2 (Who's Bad?) 16:51, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. --Efe (talk) 08:11, 29 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Cheers, I put Thriller up for FA and im about to ask for a peer review for the M.Jackson article. — Realist2 (Who's Bad?) 08:13, 29 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, friend[edit]

Thanks for your kind words about me recently. Made me blush reading some of the recent stuff on OrangeMarlin's talk page. FWIW, I changed my mind about the admin thing, and recently put in a request for admin coaching ([2]). I'm still a little nervous that my article-building contribs are fairly weak, so that's why I wanted to talk to a coach first. Anyway, I really really appreciate what you said :) :) --Jaysweet (talk) 15:08, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I only speak the truth :-), could I co-nominate you perhaps? — Realist2 (Who's Bad?) 16:53, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Quite possibly, and thank you. I want to confer with either an admin coach or some existing admins first, about some things that would come up at an RfA. And in any case, I think I'd want to wait at least a week or so, given all teh dramaz going on right now!!! :D hehehehe --Jaysweet (talk) 16:59, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah tell me about it, even if im like your 3rd co-nom I would be honoured. You have helpe me a lot so I have lots of nice stories to tell the community. — Realist2 (Who's Bad?) 17:02, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Stylistic advice[edit]

Re: this, my advice would be to just treat usernames as names. If you don't want to wikilink to Gary King, just say Gary King. The usage of quotation marks varies from group to group and some people find quotes around their name offputting, and it really doesn't seem to me that you want to come off that way, at all. Regards, Darkspots (talk) 15:24, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Oh no, I don't. It was just my way of showing that it was a wikieditor without having to set up a link. I will avoid quotations in the future. Cheers. — Realist2 (Who's Bad?) 16:55, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
