Nomination of Don Smith (songwriter) for deletion[edit]

A discussion has begun about whether the article Don Smith (songwriter), which you created or to which you contributed, should be deleted. While contributions are welcome, an article may be deleted if it is inconsistent with Wikipedia policies and guidelines for inclusion, explained in the deletion policy.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Don Smith (songwriter) until a consensus is reached, and you are welcome to contribute to the discussion.

You may edit the article during the discussion, including to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. Ten Pound Hammer, his otters and a clue-bat • (Otters want attention) 16:54, 27 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

RE: Chavez (band) articles up for deletion[edit]

Just because the band hasn't appeared on the Billboard charts doesn't necessarily mean that they aren't notable. None of Captain Beefheart's albums appeared on the charts, but he's still considered one of the most important artists of the 60s, nor did Big Black or Minutemen. So, therefore, chart placings shouldn't be a part of notability decision-making. Eyeball kid (talk) 23:28, 2 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
