Wikipedia Geisha Article Discussion

I don't really know where to discuss this but on my talk page. So yeah I have a question. I added Wikipedia article Oiran into the "See Also" section of the Geisha article two days ago and now it's gone. I'm just wondering who removed it and why? Not that it bothers me or anything I'm just curious because I thought the Oiran's had some similarities to the Geisha's. Sorry if this isn't the right place to discuss things I'm still a newbie so if anyone could tell me why it was removed I would be eternally grateful. Yet again sorry for me being a newbie. :/

I'm adding the Oiran article back in the "See Also" section of the Geisha article. If it get's removed again then alert me to the person who removed. If the person who removed it gives a valid and understandable reason to why they removed it I will stop adding it back into the "See Also" section but if the person who removed the article from the "See Also" section doesn't give a valid reason or doesn't contact me at all I will keep adding it back into the "See Also" section. Thank you.

Again the Oiran article has been removed from the "See Also" section of the Geisha article. I am not sure who is removing it or why they're removing it but it's annoying how they don't contact me to give a reason for the removal. If this happens again I will get in contact with an administrator.

Hi! Welcome to en:Wikipedia. I removed your addition per Manual of Style. See this one. It says "As a general rule, the 'See also' section should not repeat links that appear in the article's body or its navigation boxes. " And see also this page. It says "Generally, a link should appear only once in an article..." I undid your edit as an Oiran link was already found in the article's body. Please learn more on Wikipedia.
